Enjoy the incredible views, from this lovely custom-built waterfront home, that will take your breath away. The house offers 270 deg. unobstructed waterfront views. A secluded setting with a large green belt on one sides and a house set back from visibility on the other. Sit in the solarium and watch the eagles fly right overhead or fish in the water below you while drinking your morning espresso from our machine.

You'll enjoy unobstructed views of Puget Sound, the Cascade mountains and Mt. Baker from virtually every room in the house. Watch the ever changing activity of cruise ships, sailboats, tankers or an occasional nuclear submarine from our large deck or our cozy solarium. The natural planted landscaped yard is designed for the enjoyment of the wildlife, privacy and easy maintenance and features a tranquil pond and natural woodland setting. There is a trail behind the house leading down to the beach. At low tide enjoy a walk exploring over a mile of beach, dig for clams or just sit on a log and relax next to a beach fire.
We also have 3, two-man kayaks (in summer only ), crab pots and clamming tools for your enjoyment. We have Geoducks!!! Or just kick back on the large deck or in the solarium and watch the deer and racoons wander through the yard any given day or watch the eagles soaring above fishing the waters on our beach below. Many birds stop by for a drink from our pond just outside of the solarium. There is a small patio on the south side of the house to enjoy the late afternoon sun and the view while lounging in our "outdoor living room" with a glass of wine.
The fully equipped kitchen has a 5 burner professional gas cook top, double ovens and large side by side refrigerator, (we have a second full size refrigerator next to the pantry for your box store shopping trips) beautiful granite slab countertops, and a view that makes cooking a real pleasure. Or you can pull up a bar stool to the eating counter and grab a quick snack. Fine dining is minutes away at several of our favorite restaurants if you aren't in the mood for cooking.

The living room has a stone wall with a gas fireplace and a 55" Samsung Smart TV. Snuggle up on the comfy sofas in front of the fireplace and enjoy great conversation, a good book or a glass of wine. Or, simply admire the beauty of the view.

The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, a king sized bed and 12' sliding glass doors that open to the deck. Lie in bed and enjoy the fireplace in the evening and see the cruise ships heading back to port. Or if you're an early riser, watch the sun rise over the Cascade Mts. Master bath vanity has double sink with granite slab counter top, spa like shower with double shower heads, and like almost everywhere in this home, incredible water and mountain views!

Bedroom 2 has queen sized bed and a garden view. (One of only two rooms in the house without ocean and mountain views.)

Bedroom 3 is very large with queen bed (and available space for our queen, double high air bed available for those groups looking for a couple more sleeping spots). Glass doors open to the deck. Relax with a cup of coffee at the bistro table with four chairs and view the marvelous water and mountain views or enjoy the electric fireplace for added enjoyment .

Bedroom 4 is in our second floor loft. It has a queen bed as well as a convertible double sofa bed.

We have a private office area in the loft with its own Spectacular views equipped with a desk, ergonomic chair and office basics supplies. (if you really need to do some work).

The house is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated in a Nautical theme to make your stay feel extra special and comfortable.

The soft breezes from the water below make grilling and dining, on the deck table a joy.

Several comfortable lounge chairs are also provided on the deck. Try to spot the seals and otters on the rocks below with the telescopes and binoculars provided or just marvel at the incredible view. There is another patio with lounge sectional outdoor furniture at the south end of the yard to enjoy the afternoon sun and Happy Hour.

From Port Ludlow hook up to the Bainbridge ferry to Seattle and tour the waterfront and famous Pike Place Market or drive about 1.5 hrs to Port Angeles and take the ferry to Victoria B.C. and spend the day in that charming city. Add a visit to the world famous Butchart Gardens in B.C. Also Whidbey Island, Hurricane Ridge, the Olympic Rain Forest, Ocean Beaches, Poulsbo, Sequim (with its lavender festival) and Historic Port Townsend and/or Port Gamble are great day trips.

Historic Port Townsend is about 25 minutes away with antique shops, many talented artists offering their wares and lots of charming shops. Farmer's Markets are held every Saturday during the spring and summer. Visit Bremerton and tour the naval shipyards or the Undersea Naval Museum in Keyport.

There are many options if you are adventurous. Parasailing and miles of Mt Bike trails and hiking rails. Or, you may want to stay close by and hike the local trails. Amazing Views
This house is right on the water with amazing views. The sunroom is a wonderful place to relax and chat regardless of the weather. The home is in the rain shadow. So, it gets less rain than areas further south. We all enjoyed the well equipped home and excellent location. You can walk to Port Ludlow via a neighborhood trail. It's a very sweet town and great home to stay in!

Picture Perfect
We recently stayed at this wonderful house and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect, and the size of the house was just right for our family. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed and more. It was a pleasant surprise to find ample extras of essentials like towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper, which is not always the case in rented houses. Our family absolutely loved the yard and the solarium. It provided the perfect space for relaxation and enjoyment, and we spent a lot of time there during our stay. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we’re already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

Our family owned a condo at the resort a short distance away since 1962, about a mile from the home we purchased for retirement. So the area was familiar to us. A friend designed this custom home., we were thrilled when it came on the market and snatched it right up. Living in the Seattle area makes for a quick weekend get-away or a long-term vacation spot. We love it here!

What makes this property unique

The first time we walked into the house we were captivated by the incredible views. We have complete privacy and no need for curtains or blinds to block the view. For those who do not like being woken up by a beautiful sunrise we have installed drapes. Bald Eagles nest in trees close by the house so they are constantly flying overhead or fishing in the water below. Deer wander through the yard daily and there is abundant bird life.Take the trail behind our house down to the beach and enjoy over a mile of beach combing (at lower tides). You can also take our 3 kayaks (summer only) for some excercise.
