New distinctive historical unit from 5 Star Host

Just east of Trolley Square, the charming houses on Windsor Street, were the original Nantucket shot-gun houses for Trolley Square employees working at the Trolley/Bus Station. 15 minutes or less to major hospitals, our duplex is a unique, colorful and functional space that includes all the amenities for a perfect stay. Handsomely furnished one-bedroom, one-bath unit, complete with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area, washer & dryer, smart TV, & super fast WiFi.
No pets.

No parties or extra guests. Guest will be charged the full security deposit in the event of any parties or extra guests, regardless of any damages.

No smoking. Guest will be charged the full security deposit in the event of any smoking in unit, regardless of any damages.

Strict quiet hours past 10PM.

Our guests are protected by the Waivo® damage protection program for accidental damages that occur up to $1,500 and this is included in the price of your reservation.

Waivo® Damage Waiver

If You have purchased a Waivo® Damage Waiver (“Waiver”) then the following terms and conditions are now part of Your vacation rental agreement.

AGREEMENT
On behalf of Alpenglow Property Rentals, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below up to $1,500, $2,000 and/or $3,000, the Waiver limit purchased by or for You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.
Waivo is hereby responsible for direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will reimburse the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $1,500, $2,000 and/or $3,000. This Waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.
This is not an agreement to provide insurance.


EXCLUSIONS
This Waiver will not reimburse for theft, or damages resulting from:
Acts of God
Prior damage, cosmetic damage, marring or normal wear and tear
Loss of use of the vacation rental property
Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
Damage to a motorized vehicle
Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
Consequential loss
This Waiver will not reimburse for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not reimburse for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, clogged plumbing, excess trash, laundering linens, spa/pool maintenance, landscaping, maintenance or mechanical breakdown.


III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the Waiver.
Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.
This Waiver will reimburse for assembly of replacement furniture up to a maximum amount of $50.00 US Dollars.
This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.
This Waiver is only effective if damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.
Waivo will not respond to damage under $50 US Dollars.
If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.


DEFINITIONS
You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person You invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay.

The previsit communication with the host was great. -The overall quality of this unit is inferior. The photos suggest a more comfortable and spacious residence. The tiny bathroom is entered through a door in the wall of the very little only bedroom and has a hanging pocket door that is damaged and in any case does not fit the opening properly so all bathroom sounds and smells are virtually in the bedroom. - The furnishings are cheap as can be. - The front door lock and knob are problematic due to improper installation. Turning the doorknob which is too close to the casing drives one's thumb into the molding. I have a still-healing wound from that. This could be repaired.

Nice place but communication could improve

The location itself was fine and looked as listed. However, there were issues with the toilet and multiple bulbs were out. My biggest issue was a lack of communication with owners assistant. No check in/out instructions were given before the trip, and I had to reach out to the owners for the passcode and check in info. This was different than what the app said, which was that they would meet me at the door. So that's confusing. Most stays that information is given to you a few days before arrival.

Our home during a family wedding

We came for a local wedding and this was our perfect home away from home! The bed was so comfy and the home’s color palette so soothing that we were able to fully recharge between the whirlwind of events we had going for the long weekend. We enjoyed walking to Whole Foods and doing some window shopping in Trolley Square. The kitchen had everything we needed, including food storage containers! The shower was perfect!We wanted for nothing, got instant attention and resolution when we had trouble with the door lock, and left happy and content. We would definitely stay here again!

Disappointing

So many issues with our stay. House is located basically in a one-way alley but appears newly renovated and other homes on the street in good condition. Parking is on the crowded street, but easily available. Neighborhood is fine, walkable to Trolley Square.Keypad did not work when we checked in. When we called the on-call person, she gave us the code to a hidden lock box and commented that "this happens sometimes". Front room and kitchen are nicely renovated, bedroom is tight, but ok. The real problem is the bathroom which looks like it is awaiting renovation. Door does not completely close and has a ragged hole cut in it. Plumbing under the sink looks like it might come apart at any minute. Shower head leaks and sprays water. Had difficulty turning the shower on and had to call the owner/manager for directions. In his response, he mentioned that he "only had a few guests mention any confusion". Towels were so old that they shed material all over the tub while being used. No directions on the heating/cooling systems. Owner/manager was quickly responsive and sympathetic but did not offer partial refund when we decided to check out early. Would not stay here again.

Our stay was great. Very convenient neighborhood . We used Whole Foods to provision and had lunch in 9th and 9th district at East Liberty Tap house. The home is well equipped and very tastefully decorated .

Small unit, sized right for one person or a couple. Stocked kitchen with dishes, cooking implements, and spices. Located on an interior block alley which is very cozy and comfortable to walk on. Nice residential neighborhood with appealing housing and lovely mature trees. Within easy walk to multiple restaurants--I liked Trio the best. Minor complaints: the toilet was small, wobbly, and tilted to one side, the bathroom door is a sliding door that leaves a slight gap open to the room beyond, and the one of the bedside outlets is non-functional. Despite that, it did exactly what I wanted and I recommend it to other solo travelers who want to travel to Salt Lake but want to avoid the hectic downtown atmosphere.

Comfortable stay, great location

We had a busy 3 days, in SLC for a conference with much to do. Comfortable place to return to, workable kitchen and close to downtown, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods for groceries. Drew is an attentive host, great with communication. Very nice location.

Quiet and convenient

Drew and Julia's cottage-like home is perfectly located for multipurposes. We had to work downtown and had a chance to ski. There is a Wholefoods and Starbucks around the corner, the highway is down the street and it is very quiet for needed rest. Entry and parking is easy and there were the little things that should be there, i.e. pods for laundry, papertowels ect. Most appreciated was they don't wack you with unnecessary fees. We would stay again. Parking
