Hiking and mountain biking trails are just 50 metres away, allowing you to explore the Monts de la Madeleine mountain range—a region steeped in history between Auvergne and Burgundy— unless you’d prefer to head down to the village and explore the Roannaise Plain, where the Loire River meanders peacefully; if you’d like, you can even go canoeing.
Let’s not forget the region’s renowned cuisine and the quality of its dishes, best enjoyed paired with wines from the Côte Roannaise vineyards.
