We welcome you in a Mongolian yurt facing nature. A unique and unusual experience that children will talk about for a long time. La ferme du moulin de bois, in Farbus, near Arras, is an educational farm that your hosts will show you around whenever you want. Children will love to cuddle the little rabbits, stroke Etna and Caramel, the ponies, Prunelle, the donkey, Coco the goat, Phébus and Paquito the alpacas, or feed Minnie the pig... without forgetting Rumba and Largo the dogs who accompany the visit! Here, we love and pamper the animals.
After this discovery of the farm, the night will be sweet and comfortable in a real Mongolian yurt, all coloured inside and painted by hand. If the weather is good, open the panoramic roof and watch the starry sky! Right next to the yurt, a room with kitchen, reading, board games and sanitary facilities is entirely dedicated to you. And when the weather is fine, there is a picnic table and a relaxation area just in front of the yurt, facing the nature and the woods; you may even see deer, roe deer, wild boar... and you will certainly hear the birds chirping.
You'll be in great shape as you set off to discover the Artois hills, perhaps on an electric bike, which your host hires out with all the necessary safety equipment, even child seats if necessary. We also suggest that you prepare a picnic basket (with extra charge) and go for a little ride in Canada! Yes, you are less than 2km from the Vimy Memorial, on Canadian territory. Here's an anecdote that will amaze your friends! And the view from the Collines de l'Artois is worth a diversion or even a short family hike. Before returning, don't forget to make a stop in Arras.
