About this property
Tranquil Getaway in the heart of Warrandyte
About this Space
A self-contained mud-brick cottage nestled within Warrandyte woodland, walking distance from the Yarra Street shops. Sip your morning cuppa, whilst enjoying the tranquil bush outlook from floor to ceiling windows. Keep your eyes peeled for kangaroos and native birds who frequently visit our property. Warrandyte is best known for its stunning natural environment, walking trails, art scene and friendly village atmosphere. It is perfect for mini-getaways and solo retreats, where you can escape from the bustle of the city to relax, unwind and rejuvenate. It is also ideally situated as an overnight stopover en route to Yarra Valley and wedding venues close by.
The Space
Bungalow features include:
** Fully equipped modern kitchen, including a Nespresso coffee machine and provisions for light continental breakfast
** Combined laundry, toilet and bathroom facilities
** Free Wifi, and Smart TV with free Netflix
** Queen-size bed with electric blanket
** Reverse cycle Air-conditioning in Living Room and Bedroom
** Pellet fireplace in Living Room
This charming bungalow is 5 minutes walk from the Yarra Street shops, where you can explore local favourites - cafes, artisan shops, art gallery, library and various historical buildings. Also within walking distance is the popular Warrandyte Market held on the first Saturday of each month. Stroll along the banks of the Yarra River perusing local produce and a variety of food, arts and crafts. The route to the shops is straightforward, with an uphill journey on the way back (perfect excuse to detour via the local cafe to grab a pastry for added energy boost!)
Guest Access
Self-contained accommodation with onsite parking. We operate by a self check-in model. The hosts stay at the main property and we are close by to offer any assistance should it be required. We understand some guests prefer complete privacy for the duration of the stay, and hence we will not make contact unless contacted (but please feel free to say Hi!)
Other things to note
** Guests may park in our carport and walk a set of garden steps down to the bungalow
** Warrandyte is a beautiful bush suburb. Please be mindful that wildlife and insects may roam the property.
