Galoglen Farm Cottage is located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, just 5 minutes drive from the township of Yarra Glen, close to major tourist attractions, wineries and walking trails.

Set on over 100 acres, the cottage is fully self-contained, has a full length verandah and is sited to capture the light and the beautiful rural views.

Enjoy the sight of a mob of kangaroos bounding across the landscape or a wombat sauntering down to the dam in front of the cottage; be entertained by the diverse bird life and calves frolicking in the paddocks.

Galoglen Farm is a place you will never want to leave.

The cottage has full kitchen and laundry facilities. There is also a kitchen garden and Guests are welcome to use the fresh herbs growing there.

Close to Yarra Valley ballooning, Yarra Glen, Healesville etc, and yet quiet and peaceful. Great to have the property to ourselves and with all the comforts Host was lovely, accommodating and friendly

Perfect location albeit slightly remote ( which is what we expected)

Lovely Farm Cottage, Lovely Hosts

A small working farm in a quiet valley setting with dads, mums and calves just over the fence. An abundance of wildlife at our fingertips. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Our hosts were oh so welcoming and easy to chat with. We will be back.

Peaceful, delightful farm cotttage

It is well appointed with the kitchen, dining, lounge, bedrooms (x 2) and bathroom. The deck was lovely to sit out on to enjoy the fresh air to look at the cows, the birds and the kangaroos. Jacquelynn was friendly and a delight to speak to. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Yarra Glen. Only downside: no breakfast provisions but there was (lovely) coffee, tea, milk and biscuits. Thank you, Jacquelynn.

Convenient and surrounded by farmland

We were attending a wedding at Fergusson Winery, so this location was perfect! So picturesque, surrounded by cows. The place was clean and comfortable. The owners stopped by and were so accommodating. A great place to stay and unwind during a hectic week. Just FYI, for anyone using google maps, the gate for the property is before the location registered on the map. It may also try to direct you via fenced off roads.

Absolutely perfect!

My partner and I had the best stay at this cottage. I would give it 6 stars if I could! Such a serene and calm location, with plenty of curious cows around to keep us company. It was great meeting Jacqui when we arrived, she was just lovely. The cottage was clean and warm, with high quality bedding, towels, and furniture. The beds and pillows were super comfy, and the location was so quiet, so our sleep was amazing. We really had the best, most relaxing time there. Can't think of a single bad thing to say.

Relaxing Farm Stay....

My husband and our two boys, aged 5 & 9 spent four days at Galoglen Farm Cottage over the Easter break. We absolutely loved our time here, it was surrounded by hills, kangaroos & cows and we just felt relaxed and out in nature. Jackie was a brilliant host and we loved chatting with her and learning the history of the land. The cottage had everything that we needed and seeing my boys riding around and exploring the land was just so awesome. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thanks for having us. It was terrific the house was super clean well equiped and in a beatifull surroundings. Hosts were super friendly loved the walk- in -ready- to- relax -atmosphere from biscuits tea coffee milk teatowels to the towels in the bathroom which were huge and clean and some nice soap such a lovely touch and luxery!!!heaters for top comfort! We highly recommend this accomodation !

Valley Oasis

Such an idyllic spot. The cottage was very thoughtfully prepared and all our needs catered for. We particularly loved sitting on the veranda watching the farm animals, and seeing the local wildlife. The cows bellowed their greetings as we arrived. We have named them all!

Quiet country retreat

Galoglen Cottage is the perfect place to rest, recuperate and relax. The views are magnificent and the sounds of the birds and animals relaxing. Such a wonderful place and friendly hosts.

A Piece of Paradise

Our 5 days away was amazing at Galoglen. The birdie, the cattle, the kangaroos and ducks. Hosts are just lovely. Home is very well presented for visitors. Board Games etc Kitchen is very well organised 2 beds, 1 med- firm, which my back enjoyed having a shocking bad back, the other bed is firm. We will most definitely be back and such a short drive to town as well. 10/10

Paradise in the country

We had a fabulous long weekend at Galoglen. Jacqui was amazing at communicating and went out of her way to find us wood and make sure we were comfortable. Loved being around the farm and animals. Good local walks and easy drive to towns, wineries etc. Would definitely go again.

Green Rolling Hills

A beautiful quaint little cottage nestled in the rolling hills of Steels Creek. The peace and quiet is amazing with the lowing of cattle occassionally breaking the silence. Roos in the paddock of a morning and a view of green undulating paddocks to add to the peacefulness. And only 5 minutes out of Yarra Glen. What a gem.

Wonderful country retreat

The property, enclosed yet separate on a working farm, is in a great location, very quiet, with wonderful vistas & views. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped & well maintained. Our host was warm & friendly. This stay was a return visit for us, & we would go again.

Farm Paradise

Lovely farm cottage set amongst a picturesque farm. Cows and ducks can be seen from every window. Very peaceful and serene. It is only a short drive to the town of Yarra Glen for supplies. Comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need. We definitely recommend Galoglen!
