This house was super comfortable, plenty of heating for a winter getaway. Lots of bits and pieces in the cupboards to make sure you have everything you need. Beds were comfy, shower was lovely and hot. A great stay.

Gorgeous cottage
We spent four nights at the cottage and had such a great time and left so relaxed.
We felt very much at home. The cottage is clean and comfortable, very pretty gardens and peaceful surrounds.
In very close proximity to the main street. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Thanks so much Sara for your lovely review. Great to know that you enjoyed your stay.
Great house. Great location, perfect for family with dogs
Great owners. Quick respond.
Beautiful and cosy house.
Perfectly if you want to get away from the city and not to leave behind your 4- leged family members.
Wish could stay for longer.
Lovely and relaxing cottage with beautiful garden. Very secured fenced garden for both kids and dogs. Great outdoor deck for chilling out. Everything was beyond our expectations. Highly recommended !!
I read a review that mentioned the house is ok in summer with air conditioners and we had hot days and it was lovely inside.
The place is well equipped and the coffee machine was a lovely surprise.
We brought our 2 dogs as well. A fantastic yard for 2 large dogs.
Finally a place where we haven’t wanted or needed for anything! Perfect yard for our two dogs and was even more surprised to find toys (including bath toys) for our 15 month old. It was a super hot couple of days when we were there but the air conditioning was more than sufficient!
A quick drive into the main part of Healesville makes it a great location too!
Thank you to Judith & Paul for a wonderful stay! We will be back!
Stayed for a week in the Healesville Cottage and enjoyed it immensely. It is close to town (we walked in a few times) and other yummy attractions like Four Pillars Distillery and & No 7 restaurant.
It was a very cold week, but the cottage was warm and comfortable. The kitchen is really well stocked and we ate in most nights. Having the washing machine was great. It was too cold to enjoy the rear deck, but could see how this would be a great spot in warmer months.
Would definitely come back here for future visits.

keen to visit again
This was the perfect little home away from home for my family. The young children loved the outdoor space and we could venture out knowing our dog was safe and happy in the fully fenced yard. Such a nice area and despite being close to town it felt nice and private. Made us want to move to the area. Can't wait for our next visit.
Comfy bed
Great shower
Good sized BBQ
Great deck area
The only thing that would make this place the perfect 10 would be a new couch. The small sofas look great and fit the space well but aren't super comfy to cuddle up on when watching a movie.

Thanks for your positive comments Jenny. As dog owners ourselves,we enjoy our break more if the four legged family members are comfortable and safe. Two new couches ordered a couple of months ago and should be ready for delivery shortly. Included a three seater this time for more cuddling up room.

Excellent!
Everything was great apart from the main bedroom causing my husband to have allergies. I am not sure if it was the pillows or something else. Otherwise fantastic!

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall Marijana. Pillows all replaced last month just to be sure.
We loved our stay at Healesville Holiday Cottage. We have a 2.5 year old miniature dachshund, and he loved the property as much as we did. The house was very comfortable and cosy, with a well equipped kitchen and an expansive yard and garden beds that our pup loved exploring. The perimeter was very secure, with fences all around the property and gates with safety latches, meaning we didn't need to worry about him escaping. He was a little bit too interested in one gap under the house, but I'm sure future visitors with small dogs would be able to block the entrance if concerned. We did a lot of cooking, and enjoyed many meals on the deck. The frying pans at the house weren't quite as non-stick as they once might have been, so we might pack our own next time. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will be coming back with pup again.

Beautiful lookout
We had a lovely stay at this lovely cottage. Everything is very clean and we'll maintained. The cottage is very well stocked with everything you need. The air-con keeps the cottage very warm, and was a lovely surprise to arrive to find the heater on and the cottage warm and cosy. We didn't take any dogs however the yards are well fenced for dogs. The outdoor area is beautiful and very relaxing. Everything at this beautiful cottage was lovely. The only thing I would change is the beds. It was only two adults and a child (one queen room was locked so we couldn't choose a bedroom), the queen bed isn't comfortable for two adults. I put hubby in the single bed and our daughter slept with me. The whole queen bed moves and continually wakes the other person. Other then that the cottage is wonderful for a holiday. It's very close to the main town, wineries and cheese places. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Thanks Belinda for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay overall. We have rubber cups under the beds wheels to limit it moving on the timber floors but sometimes they are dislodged and its not noticed during the cleaning. I'll get Paul onto making some better alterations to improve them.
Was a little slice of paradise! Would highly recommend and definatley go back again. Great for dog lovers especially with high secure fencing lots of space for the dogs to roam and play. Went up with my bff and hubby and 3 fur kids and had a delightful stay. Thank you!
Great location, lovely gardens and surroundings. Outdoor area is fully enclosed and great for al fresco dining even when it is cool. Excellent garden for pets with fully fenced area so they could safely explore and wander around.
Quaint period house which has been renovated. Beautiful floor boards.
Check in was easy with the hosts making themselves available should we require them.
They even supplied us with bread, butter, jams, coffee and milk. So lovely.
Three bedrooms. Two had queen size beds and the third had a single bed. The beds were okay for a few nights.
It was wonderful to have electric blankets given we stayed during winter. Each room had a heating either with reverse cycle or the single room with a plug-in heater.
There were games supplied in the cupboard ensuring family activities. The only TV was quite small and not smart.
It is important to note that the dining table is very small and only has four chairs. There are two couches - a three seater and a two seater.
Lovely for a weekend away or short holiday. Beautiful gardens and outdoor area. We did not bring pets. The house did not smell of pets. It was very clean.
Such a nice cozy little house with everything you need for a family and your dog, beds were super comfy very much needed after a day at the snow which is only an hour away.
