About this property

Yarra Valley Vineyard Cottage - premier location with spectacular views.

Beautiful, bright and lovely cottage set amongst a stunning Yarra Valley vineyard. Within walking distance to premier wineries, food hubs and concerts, such as Coldstream Hills, Yarra Yering, Medhurst and Oakridge, and an 8 minute drive to Coombe and Healesville.

The cottage has a gorgeous open living kitchen, dining and sitting room. There is a new bathroom with separate bath and shower, two toilets, generous bedrooms with two queen size beds and luxury linen.

The cottage also has a sunroom with option to request for sofa double bed to be set up with luxury linen for guests (extra $70 per person per night).

*** Sofa bed area remains a sunroom unless 5 guests are selected at the time of booking, in which case the sofa bed will automatically be added. For bookings of 1- 4 people, the sofa bed will only be set up upon request.

Opening on to back deck, edged with vegetable, herb and flower garden, there is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer. Outdoor bath and shower overlooking the vineyard and hills beyond provide relaxing 'en plein air' bathing.

Back deck and front verandah catch the morning and afternoon sun respectively for coffee or a cold ale, g&t, or glass of wine.

Inspired by musicians, writers, teachers, designers, and farmers who have all lived in the cottage over four generations, the cottage is private, and surrounded by vines and rolling pastures. The views are sensational and the vibe is relaxing. The owners currently live on the property so are always just a phone call away.

This beautiful getaway is only one hour from Melbourne. Lilydale airport is only a 10 minute drive away for those who would like airport access.

No pets...this is a working cattle, sheep and vineyard property. No large functions.

We want to make your stay as comfortable and as relaxed as possible. Peaceful escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was lovely and well-appointed in a very quiet and private location. Close to all the delights of the Yarra Valley. Our Host Jenny was welcoming and helpful from booking through to check-out. Highly recommend this Cottage for a peaceful and relaxing escape.

Excellent getaway experience

Spacious accommodation presented immaculately and thoughtfully. Situated by itself on an operating farm between the cattle and the vines - thus quiet and private. Cosy in early August and would be even better in milder weather. Great hospitality. We stayed two nights and loved it.

A little piece of paradise!

We loved this property so much! It felt homely and was quiet and private. Wonderful big bathroom and bedrooms with quality bed linen. The added touches of a fireplace ready to light, lovely toiletries, local produce and fresh flowers just added to such a lovely atmosphere. The garden and surrounding views were beautiful and Jenny was so kind in making our stay a wonderful one. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

The best getaway a family could wish for.

We were lucky enough to book this for a few nights before returning to our busy work schedules in January. This farm house is ideal for a family getaway and absolutely stunning. It is extremely well-appointed with gorgeous decor, linen, a full kitchen and has everything we needed for the weekend. The host Jenny was welcoming with her communication, great to engage with and very responsive to our questions and requests including providing a cot and high chair. The location is ideal, on a working farm and vineyard and is an escape from the fast paced city. It was easy to get to surrounding cellar doors and vineyards. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

I absolutely loved the cottage and the picturesque views - it was a perfect escape. Our stay at Jennys place was fabulous. Jenny was very accommodating to our needs and was lovely to chat to. The house was beautiful, very comfortable, clean and tidy. We captured so many beautiful photos in the yard. Would stay here again.

Sweet cottage feels

We had a delightful stay. The cottage is so quaint and had all the items we needed for our stay. We had the extra room made up for a bed as there were 3 of us and it worked out so well as we all had our own room. The fire was lovely. Little bunnies hopping in the yard, the lemon tree with fresh lemons and the chocolate fudge left for us were highlights. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash were a really special extra treat. Instructions were spot on and Jenny was extremely easy to contact should we need anything. Would definitely recommend. 5 starts from us!

A Dream Stay

This was the prettiest place I have ever stayed in. Right on the vineyards with a large back and front garden and cows and horses nearby. The house itself was very cosy and comforting and had everything we needed and more. Jenny was a great host with great communication. I couldn't recommend this stay more. The kitchen amenities were great and modern, we loved all the puzzles and games and the bathroom was a great size and we appreciated the shampoo, conditioner etc. provided. Only think I would note is that you may need a sleeping mask as the sun and moon can be very bright through the blinds! Absolutely loved our stay.

Well located cottage at Yarra Valley

Very clean and well located cottage at Yarra Valley! We had a wonderful stay there. Loved the choc fudge, coffee and bottle of milk provided. These were thoughtful gestures that we appreciated. Wish we had more nights there to enjoy more of Yarra Valley!

Excellent getaway during our wedding weekend

This was a perfect weekend during our wedding at Riverstone Estate. There was plenty of room for our bridesmaids, family members and make-up and hair artists, without it feeling cramped! Everyone commented on how beautiful the surrounds were. We would highly recommend this accommodation!

Winery weekend get away

This cottage is so lovely, and Jenny was the perfect host. (Even bringing us figs from her tree). We had such a great time, laughing, chatting and drinking wine in front of the open fire. In the morning, we woke up to the view of cows and vineyard. We will be back. We all wished we could move in! 😊
