The Space:
Celestial Haven by Tiny Away is nestled in the rural township of Toolangi—an ideal base for those seeking a countryside escape in the Yarra Valley and Yarra Ranges. Discover boutique wineries like Sutherland Estate and Steels Gate, or visit celebrated names such as Domaine Chandon and Oakridge.
Spend your days hiking through ancient rainforests, discovering hidden waterfalls, or enjoying local delights at TarraWarra Art Gallery and the charming Chocolaterie near Yarra Glen.
This cozy 190-square-foot tiny home features solar panels and clean, natural spring water that is drinkable and healthy. A queen-sized bed in the loft, a sofa-bed on the ground floor, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with a gas stove, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower for hot water.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, ""Quantum Field," available with 24 hours' notice in advance.
As an added note, there may be other guests on the property as we also accommodate campers. We'd also like to remind guests that this is a limited solar-powered tiny house and we highly recommend saving energy for the entire stay.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence and shed.
For safety reasons, it’s "NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OR INFANTS". Guests should be careful when using the ladder. By booking this property, guests acknowledge and accept this risk, and the host will not be held liable for any incidents or injuries resulting from the use of the ladder.
NOTICE TO ALL: No Need to Bring bottled water! Our holiday homes are supplied with fresh mountain water from a natural underground stream. It's safe to drink straight from the tap, and we hope you love it. Feel free to take some with you and help us reduce plastic waste. Thank you!
The Neighborhood:
Celestial Haven by Tiny Away is located in Toolangi, gracefully positioned along the Healesville-Kinglake Road. Surrounded by ancient forests, abundant wildlife, and a welcoming community, it offers a peaceful retreat just an hour from Melbourne. Along the way, you’ll pass through the picturesque towns of St Andrews, Christmas Hills, Dixons Creek, and Castella.
The region is home to acclaimed wineries and exceptional dining experiences. Notable nearby attractions include the majestic Kalatha Giant Tree, one of the oldest in Victoria, and the Wirrawilla Rainforest Walk, a popular trail perfect for hiking and enjoying the lush Yarra Valley scenery.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 1hr 20 mins drive from Melbourne
By public transport: Take the train to Lilydale Railway Station and then take bus 685 (about 11 stops, 18mins) and alight at Ayres Rd/Maroondah Hwy (Healesville). From Healesville, it will take another 30 mins by taxi to get to our property.
We can also arrange a pick up/drop you off at Healesville for an additional fee and by prior arrangement with land host. Please contact your land 24 hrs before arrival to make arrangements. Thank you.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs may incur an additional charge and must be pre-arranged with the land host
Important note:
- Outdoor fire pit is not available during a total fire ban
- We have a 240-volt power plug inside the tiny house
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife and birdlife may be present
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
