About this property
Steps away from shops and restaurants of Lenox Village, with private forest
Newly renovated and re-furnished, ''the Peach House', is a few level steps away from Lilac Park, Main Street, the Library and the boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants of the Lenox Historic District. No need for a car..
Peter Pan bus stop to and from NYC is a 5-minute walk away.
Unique for Lenox village, the property has three acres of private woods with a pleasant loop walking trail. I have expanded the field, cut dead trees and renovated the walking trail..

About the host
Hosted by James Brooke - Owner

I grew up at the 'main house' around the corner. After college, I embarked on a lifelong career as a foreign correspondent -- largely with The New York Times -- based in Africa, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Russia, Cambodia and now Ukraine.
Why they chose this property
Super convenient -- located on the residential side of Lenox, but an easy 3-minute, level walk to the village -- restaurants, boutiques, library, drugstore, etc. Although on the edge of the village's historic core, the property has a private, 3-acre forest with a walking trail. Tanglewood is a 3-minute drive or a 30-minute downhill walk.
