We loved our cozy little cabin, it was very clean and nicely taken care of. The location to the river cannot be beat, and the setting is absolutely perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Our stay was perfect. This clean and comfortable cabin had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept and the beautiful view of the river from the porch never got old. Fly fishing in the Rio was excellent during our week long stay.
Wonderful- Old world rustic feel but clean and well laid out. A short walk to private bath house toilet and shower very clean and lockable. This place is a great place to spend a night or two on the River if you are planning to stay in the Creede, area.
Overall a good experience, location is great but locating it is tricky if it’s dark outside, the only issue that I have was the host lives 40 ft away, some what intrusive
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we loved it again. We come to Creede every summer to see shows at CRT and found these accommodations to be just right for our family - close to everything while also being secluded and special.
What a great location. Peaceful and private. Clean, comfy beds, well supplied kitchen. Shower and toilet in a nearby bathhouse and they were modern and pristine.
The property has great amenities and unbeatable access to the mighty Rio Grande, just a short walk away.
It’s very comfy, and has everything you need for a quiet little mountain get-away. The Bathhouse is very clean and new, and the staff at the owners property are so kind.
This is our third stay at Shirrae's properties. We're fans. The cabins are comfortable and just as described. For us it's a pleasure to stay outside of town in the wide open spaces and better experience the beauty of Creede. Thank you for making your cabins available to us!
Wonderful rustic cabin with amazing fishing and hosts
The trip could not have been better. Hosts were super friendly and property is amazing. Old fashioned wood stove added to the charm! Amazing fishing right at the property. Can’t wait to return. Town of Creede is really fun to explore and with the old mining sites
Nice clean cabin just footsteps from Rio Grand. Small but efficient. Great and friendly host with the best mascot.
Note: no a/c keep that in mind so your expectations are set.
Just what the doctor ordered. Privacy, peace and serenity. The hostess husband was super helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Thanks again for everything.

This is a great little stay for folks a little more up for roughing it. No HVAC so in the summer it does get a little hot but when you open the windows, it cools right down at night. The bathhouse while a bit of a walk from the cabin itself was very clean and well kept, and we had no issue at all.
Overall great week. Great weather (I am fro Texas). Enjoyed private fishing. Loved the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Slightly inconvenient not having bathroom facilities in cabin but bathhouse was only about 20 yards from cabin.
We rested by the beautiful Rio Grande. My husband did a bit of fly fishing . We did the Bachelor Loop. Self- guided tour of mining ruins. All was very fun.
This was our 2nd stay here. Both times have been wonderful. The grounds are always well kept. The cabin has everything you need. The view from the porch never gets old, nor does fly fishing in the Rio Grande right on the property! The private restroom is only a few steps away and is clean, spacious and stylish. Shirrae and JD are great people and excellent hosts. We've already booked our stay here for next year.
