The apartment has a large piazza and off street parking. It is located only a block away from three popular restaurants, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Bistronomy By Nico and Fuel. Walk about 5 blocks and you will be on King Street with many of Charleston's favorite new restaurants and boutiques.
The Neighborhood:
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

The communications with the host were wonderful, both in the lead up to our trip, and during. When an unexpected repair issue arose, they were quick to act and moved us to a nearby property.

Very clean, no bugs, everything worked, great location, comfy beds. Host was very kind and responsive to our one minor request: needed batteries for the remote. Property is in rough shape, a lot of deferred maintenance on the outside. Big cracks in the ceiling. If you’re on the first floor, expect the upstairs neighbors will be loud. Proximity to other houses also made it loud. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay.

This house is in a phenomenal location. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The beds were super comfortable and yard was suitable for walking our dog.

3 Stars for an extended stay.What we liked: • Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy • The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, and utensils • The host/property manager was responsive • Great location—walkable and convenient to many top-rated restaurants • Having a washer and dryer was very helpful • The shower had excellent water pressure and consistent hot water • Works well as a short-term stay optionWhat we didn’t like: • The property is on a busy street, which can be noisy • There was a noticeable sewer smell at times • Some mildew issues were present • Appliances were dated (although a new oven was installed on our last day) • Furniture was not very comfortable for a longer stay • Outdoor furniture wasn’t usable without cleaning • Online photos appear outdated and don’t fully reflect the current conditionSummary:This property has solid fundamentals—especially location and basic functionality—but falls short for longer stays due to comfort and maintenance issues. The beds were clean and comfortable. You can hear street noise in the front bedroom. King St is several blocks away but there is a free shuttle bus stop nearby. There is a bagel shop and Mexican grill & bar a couple blocks away.
