Located in central Brittany, on the edge of the Liscuis moors, this slate-stone house offers an exceptional view of the Quenecan Forest. You’ll be charmed by its fruit orchard and flower-filled grounds—a paradise for birds. Here, you might even be lucky enough to spot a deer. Inside, stone is a prominent feature throughout the ground floor, while the upper floor evokes the atmosphere of a mountain chalet. Nature is all around here: the tree-lined avenues of Liscuis, the Daoulas Gorges, and Bon Repos Abbey (with its sound-and-light show) are just a few minutes’ walk away. And the Nantes–Brest Canal is just at the bottom of the hill, with the Salles Forges a few kilometres away—and nearby, Lake Guerledan. In the surrounding area, you can experience authentic Breton life, with its fest-noz, pardons, festivals (Fisel, Les Vieilles Charrues), and its distinctive “chaos” sites (Korong, Toul Goulic, etc.). You can visit wildlife parks such as Coat Fur, the Wolf Park, or Le Sterou with its deer and fallow deer. You can enjoy an evening at a traditional Celtic pub in Rostrenen. From there, you can explore Huelgoat and its exceptional rock formations, the Monts d’Arrées and Mont Saint-Michel, the Valley of the Saints in Carnoët, and the Easter Island of Brittany. To the south, towards Morbihan, Pontivy awaits you, and a little further on, Josselin and the Forest of Brocéliande.
