This lovely central apartment is accessed by your own entrance with a private patio accessed from the garden room. There is free parking and it is a pleasant easy walk to the city centre. There is a deli, coffee shop, 2 local friendly pubs/restaurant, chemist, post office and a corner shop a 2 minute walk away.
The apartment is also listed on air b n b where I have a number of reviews, I have just recently listed here. You will find it on air b n b if you search Southside place, inverness.
The city of Inverness is a great place to base yourself to plan day trips within the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. Inverness is the capital of the Highlands with many Scottish pubs, traditional music and places to eat.
The apartment is bright, airy and comfortable with good wi-fi. There is a micro kitchen which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, basic cooking utensils and crockery. There is no cooker or hob but why waste time cooking when you are on your holidays and there are so many places to eat out!

Susan was so very nice and a big help with anything we needed. Great location with easy access to everything. I would recommend Susan's place to anyone going to Inverness, Scotland.
This accommodation is perfect for access to town centre and local eateries a few minutes walk away. Separate private outdoor space with off-street parking is ideal and Susan is a charming host and was very welcoming and helpful.
First, Susan is an amazing hostess! So friendly and helpful, especially as it was my first visit to her city. The 3 room apartment also includes the cutest private patio. Plenty of room to park if you need to hire a car, and close enough to the downtown to enjoy a short walk to many shops and restaurants. I would strongly recommend staying here for your visit to Inverness, you won’t regret it!
We had a very lovely stay at Susan's home. She was very gracious and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we might need. Even a little milk in the fridge for our tea. The beds were firm and so comfortable. The water pressure was great and hot. I would stay there again in an instant.
First off, Susan is a delightful person! Her communication is excellent and she has loads of helpful suggestions for things to see & do, but she is not intrusive at all. The apartment is immaculate, beds are comfortable, and the little back patio is very pleasant. Even though there’s not a full kitchen, the well equipped little kitchenette allows for simple meal prep or warming up food. The location is in a cute quiet neighborhood that has a little shop, bakery, coffee shop, and a couple pubs, and it is within 15 minutes walk of train/bus station, the river, etc. Susan’s house is attached so you can occasionally hear people next door, but they are not loud -just something to be aware of. Highly recommended!!
Lovely little cottage with it's very own private garden. Fully equipped with every detail just perfect. Great host and very central location. Excellent comfortable beds. Overall a lovely stay in Inverness.
I was visiting friends for a few days but wanted a little quiet place for myself. This was just perfect when I wasn’t out and about with my friends. Lovely and quiet with little garden to sit in. Walking distance to town and bus station. Susan the owner lived next door and was on hand if I needed anything. I was made to feel so welcome. I’ll definitely be back.

Hi, I am Susan. You will have a wonderful trip to the Highlands as the scenery is magnificent and the Scottish people are warm and friendly. I was born and bred in Inverness but have also lived in Edinburgh, Glasgow and New Zealand. I am well travelled, the most exciting place I have been was Mongolia thankfully before Covid!
I moved back to Inverness to be closer to my parents, I work full time and if I am not available my Dad John is always on hand. I enjoy meeting people and will make you feel very welcome.
I will be able to help you with planning your trip and also share beautiful places that are not in the standard travellers guide. I look forward to welcoming you.
