The fridge is dorm size. The place needed dusting, check in and communication were great. Host was very responsive. Overall great stay. Would stay again.
Check in process was easy. Location was good but the surroundings werent so great. Seen a lady but naked sitting on the trunk of her car, with my kids, also the fridge is more of a dorm fridge, not full size. Overall it wasnt that bad and we had a great time.

Good place for price
Nice place. Expected full size fridge, but only had a mini one due to large one being broken. That would have been nice to know prior.....other than that would stay here again. Very close to everything we wanted to do.
The apartment has been nicely renovated and is in a quiet residential area, only 5-10 minute drive from downtown. The apartment does smell of smoke as if someone smoked for many years in there - so something to be aware of if this would affect you.

Information about parking
Property was listed as parking available. And while there is parking available, there is not sufficient of parking for two trucks. Yes, the property was very clean. But currently in the dispute between host and the host site about a refund. After paying $654 Only being allotted a refund of $100 for only staying one night.

Hey Joseph,
To be fair, you messaged us hours before arriving to the property stating that you were going to have two large trucks, each with a large trailer. I let you know right away that one truck and trailer could fit on the driveway but not recommended but there was more than enough room for all vehicles on the street with no issues.
Had you asked this question or started the conversation before booking or at the time of booking we could have offered a full refund and avoided this.

Pikes Peak
Property was clean. Bathroom was very nice. Will have to be honest though the pictures are very outdated or have changed significantly. Property is centrally licTed to all the attractions, Garden lf the gods, pikesPeak manitou, waltmart ect. Ownera were quick to reply to every email. Will havw to say that the weeds blocking the front door made it akward and the puddle that was literally 6 feet wide and 4inches deep immediately outside front door made it difficult to keep our shoes clean and keep the floor clean. The bathroom was tbe nicest part of the house. It has been renovated but the floor is not level and the pictures are angeled to hide the true layout like the washer and dryer being IN the dinning room which is also part of thr kitchen. On the whole, it was clean and we had driven 22 hrs.... but i dont think i woudl stay again having seen it in person.

Good price, great host.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Colorado Springs was a nice central location for our trip. The neighborhood isn't upscale, but we didn't have any negative experiences. We were never disrupted, and you couldn't even tell anybody else was staying next to us in the other apartments. Good communication with the host, and they were very responsive to our needs.
The place itself was very clean and the perfect size. It was furnished with everything we needed. It was close enough to drive to all the places we wanted to visit (Garden of The Gods, Pikes Peak, and many parks). The only bad thing was the area it is in seems really run down and the heat does not work very well. Overall a good value for the price.

Newly renovated but ...
Pulling into the neighborhood we saw two naked homeless men. We thought we would lock the doors and windows at night, but when we got to the house it was hotter inside than it was outside. This meant we were sleeping with windows open which was less than comforting when the neighborhood got loud. This house is a great attempt by solid rock real estate to turn a run down triplex into a good rental property, but at its heart it is still an old house in a sketchy neighborhood.
On the contrary, when we did have an issue getting into the house because of the keypad on the door malfunctioning, there was a property manager on site to make sure it wouldn't happen again.
In summary, if there were a different location and house with this level of service to the customer then it would be a great stay, but because of the condition and location of the triplex, you'll be better off finding a different stay.
We were a little worried when we pulled in and saw the broken down building on the other side of the driveway, but we did not have any issues while staying. The place was clean inside and nicely renovated. They provided everything you can't bring on a a plane. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay!

Not what we expected.
First the positive... it’s newly renovated.
Unfortunately that was the only positive. The location was in a pretty run down area. This would have been okay but it was so hot that we had to leave windows open. The screens were broken and the area a bit scary so we did not sleep well. It was very hot and did not cool down at night. The neighborhood is loud. Lots of cars squeeling up and down the alley and one night we heard a couple screaming at each other at 2am. 6am we were woken by the smell of skunky marijuana flowing into our bedroom window. We debated leaving the first night after finding several dead bugs and dirty dishes. We thought about getting a hotel but decided to stick it out. If you don’t care about location and comfort this may be the place for you. It was a horrible experience for us.
