La maison est grande et très spacieuse. Elle dispose d'un beau jardin avec de grands arbres. La cuisine est grande et très bien équipée. Tout est un peu vieillot, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés. Dans le jardin, il y a un très bon barbecue où nous avons fait griller du poisson et du homard. La terrasse couverte, où l'on peut manger et prendre l'apéritif même par temps frais, offre une vue sur le jardin. La maison est assez éloignée de la route, ce qui la rend très calme. Il y a beaucoup de place pour se garer et la boulangerie n'est qu'à 2 km. Personnellement, j'ai particulièrement apprécié la plage, située à 5 minutes à vélo, qui était très belle et très calme. On peut également s'y baigner à marée basse, ce qui est rare à Oléron. Nous avions espéré un temps plus clément, mais nous avons tout de même passé de très bonnes vacances.
