Golden Experience in Gold Country

We felt fortunate to find this spot on our visit to see friends in Grass Valley. Great location for exploring the area. Enjoyed observing hummingbirds at the porch feeder, especially when they perched in the mature redwood in the front yard. We would choose this property when we visit again.

Quartz Cottage

The best Vrbo stay! The place was decorated very nice. The antiques in the place was a perfect touch. The owner provided snacks, Coffee & Tea. Matthew communicated with us very quickly on our inquiry. Place was spotless! Who ever cleans for the owner did an amazing job. You would be very comfortable staying here. The outside seating and fireplace table were a nice touch for sitting out.

Charming!

Charming house with all the amenities, well-decorated and roomy. Nice front and back yard with huge trees and nice landscaping. Very safe and relaxing stay..I'm making this my getaway spot for sure!

Perfect Cottage

My daughter & I took a quick weekend trip home to Nev Co and Quartz Cottage was the perfect cottage for us to go in/out of. Great location, cozy decor. Loved it!

Excellent Cottage

This is the nicest cottage we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. We've spent many vacations in various cabins and cottages in the Sierra and north coast over the years and this is the best, bar none! Obviously it has been totally redone inside so it is super clean and well equipped.

Perfect 4 Two + dog

This is our second time staying at Quartz Cottage. It's just big enough for my wife and I plus our Labradoodle. With my wife having to use a walker all the time there's just enough room for her to maneuver inside and only a single step to get outside. And the fenced in yard is a plus for letting the dog outside. We can visit friends in the area without imposing on them for a bed. We will be back.

Wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Perfect yard for my dog. Other than the beds being a bit uncomfortable, the cottage was perfect. Grass Valley being a small tight knit community, my sister Vivian Tipton, knows the owners! 😊🌻😊

Cute place. Convenient and quiet.

Stayed while at the Carving retreat like others. Two of us. The second bed is a pull out in a bedroom but same comfort as other bed. Lots of snacks, coffee and essentials for a stay. Didn’t cook, but all the stuff is there. If you are there in winter, turn on your heaters in the room. That’s your heat.

Convenient and cute cottage

My 2 adult daughters and I met there for some time together! My daughter who lives an hour away has two very small dogs and I picked this place because it had a fenced in yard! The yard was very secure! Downtown was a short walk!The neighborhood was nice and quiet! The kitchen was well equipped and they provided an assortment of amazing snacks to enjoy! We highly recommend this place the host was incredibly helpful and every detail was thought of and taken care of! This is a great cottage for any family looking to have quality time in a quiet neighborhood and adorable decor and amenities! Highly recommend

Cozy and cute

Super easy communication with our hosts. Love that they were quick to respond. We stayed in January and it was pretty chilly but all of the space heaters in each room were accommodating and more than enough to fight off the chill. Highly recommend!

Very Comfy home with just everything that I needed

Hi, this was the cutest little home in the cutest little town. Sure would love to live there actually. I came home thinking I'm gona organize and minimize all my stuff because I really liked how they had it so tidy and uncluttered but they had anything a person would need, I believe. Very clean and comfy! I loved that they mixed antique stuff with artsy stuff too. I hope to be back one day! I want to explore that area more and take a friend or family member or two also. No complaints. Mona

Made my Holiday

Surprised at how much the accommodations fit my own lifestyle. i grind fresh both salt and pepper. The kitchen had everything. Loved the outdoor set up. The location was great for us. Great location, walking distance to the Fairgrounds, Downtown and Condon Park. The park has a disk golf course, a nice amount of trails and a dog park. You have the whole house with fenced in yard.
