Private Beach Front Cottage - Heart Rock Haven - Port Austin - Sunset Haven

This recently remodeled beauty sits on the shores of Lake Huron with a super sandy beach, facing west which brings the best sunsets in Michigan!.

Inside has been newly remodeled to include a brand new kitchen (cabinets and appliances) and full bath. Windows along every bit of the lakeside provide incredible views.

3 of the bedrooms each have a Queen Bed, there is also a Futon Couch that opens up into a double which allows for 8 to sleep comfortably.
All amenities which you would find in the comfort of your own home are included, just bring yourselves and enjoy.

During your stay, there is also plenty to do and see between Port Austin and Caseville. Enjoy the weekly Farmers Market or Kayak to Turnip Rock or the Pinnebog River. Ongoing festivals like Cheeseburger or Porch Fest are a ton of fun. Hike through the dunes of Port Crescent State Park or enjoy the Dark Sky Preserve at night to see the dancing stars or maybe even the Northern Lights if you’re lucky.

We do have a strict no pet policy - we do love fur babies, however, we have to respect the needs of all of our guests. Sorry!!

Wonderful place

We wanted to spend time on Lake Huron on my grandsons spring break. We didn’t realize Michigan’s state parks are closed until Memorial Day. The trip would have been ruined if we hadn’t found this wonderful place to stay. The beach was great, the house was perfect. The owners were exceptionally helpful. We would love to come again and stay longer.

Just book with them!

This property was outstanding and the views can not be beat! Well stocked for whatever your needs may be. The house is right on a fabulous beach. The cabin was so comfortable and cozy and we immediately felt at home, as they knew our arrival time and had a fire going in the fireplace for our arrival. It was cold, so the extra mile Kristin and Jeff went to was so appreciated. What is the greatest thing with our stay was the hosts. They were extra accommodating and did something very, very special for us and made us feel like we were old friends, but not overbearing in the slightest. It was perfect! We mentioned in a text that we wanted to pet and play with their enormous dog Nash and here comes Jeff, with Nash to the house and let us meet him. What a sweetheart this dog is! If you are apprehensive, don't be, just book and you will be happy you did, I promise you. Thank you for everything Jeff and Kristin!

Why they chose this property

This property has the best of both worlds. Located just outside of downtown Port Austin, it is very private with a wooded back lot and beautiful beach front.
