Great stay!

Gorgeous home! It was very comfortable and clean. The home is centrally located to many places including an easy drive to the beach. (We preferred Oak Island.) Quiet neighborhood in a non-tourist area. We were happy we brought kayaks for the lake. The vacant property next door could use some some tidying up but added to the privacy of the property. The host is very responsive to all correspondence.

Fantastic home on the lake

This place was amazing. It’s practically a brand new house on the lake. The amenities in the home were great. We were very pleased with what the home had to offer. I would definitely recommend this property as it has good access to the surrounding areas including the beaches and area restaurants (15-20 minutes via car). The space would be perfect for a small family — probably three or four would be best. We had a less than typical experience — where we stayed about 10 weeks as our family relocated to the area. We fit five people, but started to feel cramped after a few weeks of living here. It was not an issue for the first few days and would be suitable for a shorter stay. Most of the furnishings were designed around a family of four though. The host was very accommodating and communicated often with us. She made us feel welcome and helped us in our unique situation. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the lake house and our family had a great time fishing off the dock and watching the summer storms roll across the evening skies from the screened in porch.

I am so relieved for you, that you found your new home very close to the beach! Congratulations! Yes, I agree with you, it would be ideal for a family of four, family of five for a week stay will not be a stretch as there are enough beds. I am also relieved as no major break on any of the appliances and equipment and no black out! I appreciated the communications with Jamie. Thank you for treating our home like it is your own.
