Wonderful retreat tucked away close to the Cape Fear River. The spaces are all very accommodating for a small or large group, with something for everyone. Cool play room, and the pool and deck are wonderful. Great communication throughout the process!

We enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect for our family gathering! Lots of space outdoors to spread out, really enjoyed the heated pool and fireplace by the pool. Hot tub also great. Would stay again!

My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. We loved walking in the amazing garden and looking at the waterlilies on the pond. We enjoyed feeding the fish and enjoyed the pool very much. There were plenty of chairs for all of us and they have some floats as well that some of us enjoyed.We were able to enjoy lunch on the screen porch that had fans to make it superb and comfortable.

House and property was amazing! One of the rooms next to the pool had a buzz noise that happened every few minutes, had to adjust the level of my white noise machine to be able to fall asleep. Also I think maybe there was a yellowjacket nest out in the garden area that we had to avoid. But other than those couple things the property was a perfect weekend beach getaway for my family.

We had a fabulous time at the River Road house. Beautiful yard, pond, pool. The house is decorated beautifully with top of the line appliances, TVs, beds, linens. The best part was the wrap around screen porch!
