Stunning home in Skjern with kitchen

This beautiful and inviting cottage is located nearRingkøbing Fjord in beautiful, natural surroundings with many bird species. The house has two good, spacious bedrooms with a double bed and a sleeping loft with two mattresses and TV. The nice, bright kitchen is open to the living room, here you can cook comfortably while the rest of the family sits on the sofa and plays games. The entire living room area has an open roof ridge, which makes the room look wonderfully bright and airy. From the living room you can access the terrace, where you can wonderfully relax and recharge your batteries.

The area is quiet, there are several playgrounds, a bathing jetty and walking paths along the fjord, as well as the possibility to sit on a bench and look out over the water. A bike path about 100 meters long goes around the fjord. Nearby is the small airport Stauning and a large aviation museum, where you can often see demonstrations with the old airplanes. To Stauning it is about 5 km, here is a small harbor, a good restaurant and a small beach. About 10 km away is the Stauning whiskey distillery, where you can take part in guided tours and whiskey tastings, as well as buy Danish whiskey. Just outside Ringkøbing there are very good conditions for wind and kite surfing. The charming old trading town of Ringkøbing is really worth a visit. In the evening you can take a walk together with the "watchmen" and enjoy the special atmosphere between the old houses.Approximately 25 km from the house are Søndervig and the North Sea. In Søndervig the annual Sandskulputrenfestival invites you to an impressive exhibition. If you drive along the outside of the fjord, you can experience Denmark's highest lighthouse, Lyngvig Fyr. Even further south, you'll reach Hvide Sande, where you can visit the lock, the House of Fisheries and the active fishing harbor. Experience a real fish auction or cast your own line and catch your own dinner. Along the west coast you will also find remains of bunkers from WW2.
