In this area you will find some of the best sandy beaches in Denmark. Also, in this part of Denmark the sun shines longer than usual, so you can fully enjoy your stay at the beach. A variety of nature experiences, sights and many excursion destinations await you here. It is only a stone's throw to Norway or Sweden. The crossing takes about 2 hours. Try your fishing luck at Uggerby Å or take a cutter out to Det Gule Rev. Get up early and experience the fascinating atmosphere at a fish auction in Hirtshals. Admire the exciting life in the North Sea in the many aquariums at the North Sea Museum. At the Ørnereservatet eagle reserve you can observe the world's largest birds of prey up close, and at the Fun Park of an experimental farm you can get an insight into today's livestock farming.
