1 bed 1 bath cottage. Built in 1928. Withstood Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Front porch to enjoy your morning. Full size bed in cozy bedroom. Walk-in shower. Kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Lots of historic pictures and furnishings.

Bird feeders & water feature visible from the porch.
Located close to Rockport Beach and free fishing piers.
Free boat launch at Rockport Beach.
Port Aransas is 18 miles away, timing depends on the ferry.

Our stay was perfect. Kizer and Daisy enjoyed the yard to run free in. That made it much easier for us. The location is ideal for Rockport area. Easy to get to your destinations with ease. Highly Recommend this place as a quiet relaxing stay.

Self check-in was super easy! The yard was so gorgeous. Loved watching the bugs, bees and birds flutter around. This serene cottage was exactly what we needed for this weekend getaway. I was very impressed with the cleanliness (I am a professional cleaner so I have a trained eye and tend to be particular. I admit it.) Ruth was welcoming and loved on our puppies when we arrived. We felt safe and cozy the entire trip! This house radiates love and peaceful energy. Thank you so much!!

Rockport Cottage

My husband and I and our dog really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very cute, comfortable and located perfectly for walking to the Rockport beach and the old Rockport downtown with all its restaurants, shops and galleries!

Peaceful retreat

The cottage is so cute, clean and well equipped. The location is quiet and peaceful, but close to the beach and restaurants. Loved it! Cant wait to visit again!

Beach Relaxation Time

I had a wonderful, relaxing time in this beautiful place. I came with my 2 dogs, which loved the fenced in, grassy area, while I relaxed in the porch chairs. Everything was exactly as described, very comfortable bed, well stocked and beautifully decorated. I will definitely be coming back.

The perfect little slice of Heaven

This was the absolute best place I could have ever imagined to stay at on vacation. Everything was clean, the property manager, Ruth, was so kind and accommodating, and it was overall the best experience I could have ever asked for. I would absolutely 100% recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an amazing get-away.

Peaceful

Little cottage was perfect for a quiet, peaceful stay. The front porch, with the birds, butterflies, squirrels and soft chimes from the gentle breeze, may it a perfect relaxing place. This will be my go to place whenever I need a little “vacation” from the family.

Adorable piece of history

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful cottage with an amazing porch and plenty of room for my pups to play. The host is wonderful and has the cottage equipped with everything you need. The cottage is located conveniently to all the local attractions. Hope to visit again someday.

This little cottage felt so comfortable and perfect, I can’t wait to come back! I loved bird watching on the front porch and looking at/reading everything inside the cottage. Quaint Cottage

This property was exactly as advertised and rated. Ruth is an excellent host and responds quickly. Great location near the arts district. Many eating options near by as well. If you have a pet, the property is fenced in which is nice. The cottage is quite, clean, and front porch is nice to sit and relax. Would definitely stay at this place again.

Why they chose this property

Who wouldn't want to stay in a vintage cottage where you can pretend to be part of the past while having the amenities of the present? The cottage is in the center of town, close to the beach and downtown shopping. Close to many different restaurants and even HEB and Wal-Mart aren't far away. The property is surrounded by commercial businesses so the night time is quiet and enjoyable. The day time isn't too busy either. Forget a book to read? The public library is across the street. There are also several books in the cottage to enjoy during your stay.

What makes this property unique

This beautiful cottage is in the middle of town but you'd never know it by the beautiful trees and garden. The wind blows through just enough to get the windchimes singing to hide the noise from the roadways. This vintage cottage really is a haven to get away from the daily grind.
