About this property
Perched atop the Rocky Coast of the Atlantic Ocean with Stunning Views...
Enjoy sweeping vistas of the Atlantic Ocean from this 2002 home perched among spruce trees above the rocky coast. Watch for bald eagles and seals. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Walk down to the edge of the ocean to lounge or picnic.
This contemporary home has a welcoming and spacious feel, with cathedral ceilings and south-facing dormers in the main room. The deck offers unobstructed views of Hendrick's Head, the Cuckolds and the lighthouse located there, historic Damariscove Island, and the open ocean. The home is nestled in a private wooded area. It is located across the street from Reid State Park, and is a short walk and is walking distance by road to the park entrance and to East Beach. Reid State Park stretches over 1,776 acres, and has almost two miles of beaches and miles of hiking trails.
The dining room extends from the house towards the sea, and has windows on three sides. The well-equipped kitchen has maple cabinetry, dolomite counters, and stainless appliances. The first floor has radiant heated oak floors. The master bedroom has closets and an en suite bathroom with whirlpool tub and a double sink. The second floor has three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, and one with a bunkbed (with a double and a twin.) The latter doubles as an office, with a desk and an extra-wide monitor. There is an outdoor shower.
