The cottage was built on one of the first plots in Lild, which were divided in the 50s. It is located close to the sea and the small fishing village with low houses in white and yellow colors. The house is undisturbed, with the highest dune top as a neighbor, from which there is an impressive view over the whole of Lild and the North Sea from Hanstholm to Bulbjerg. It is a cozy, old-fashioned, wooden cottage with modern kitchen and modern bathroom. The kitchen-living room has a beautiful ceramic kitchen table and old-fashioned, comfortable chairs, where it is nice to relax after a long day, whether in windy gray weather or in bright sunshine. The house has two good terraces and also two benches sheltered from the wind, so it is always possible to find a windless corner, no matter which direction the wind blows from. So in the morning you can sit towards the east on the ceramic bench under the cover and in the evening towards the west on the corner bench. Only after a few days stay you will be addicted to these beautiful bench places! It is very quiet here and there is an engaging scent of sea, heather and hair grass. The house is suitable for a stay at any time of the year, as it is electrically heated and has a good wood-burning stove that alone can heat the whole house. In Lild you can buy fresh fish from the local fisherman, who is at sea daily in the early morning hours. Other shopping you do in Frøstrup, where there is an unusually well-stocked supermarket. Or in Fjerritslev, which is an atmospheric tourist town, with everything you could wish for. 400 m away is the bathing beach, which you can reach by walking through the fishing village or across the heather-covered dunes, where all the small paths end at the beach.
