We take pride in making sure the property is maintained at its best.
Our property is located on 28 acres of preserved land with abundant wildlife, including turkey, deer, gopher; maybe rabbit and other species. We use electronic pest control measures as well as rodent and snake control. This is designed to make it clean and safe for occupancy.
We welcome all visitors’ opinion . If you are not a lover of nature, this is not a place for you.
Best regards.

The cabin wasnt very clean. There were rats in the ceiling (i heard them every single night) and rat droppings in all the cabinets in the kitchen. I guess you cant expect much from a cabin in the woods. There were people hunting on the property(back yard) that parked in the driveway, dirty socks left on the front porch. The entire place reaked of moth balls and EVERYTHING we brought in left smelling of moth balls. I couldnt cook due to the gross state of the kitchen which we had bought groceries prior to checking the cleanliness so thats on us. Hardly warm water to shower with and the washer leaked when we tried to wash clothes. We only stayed the entirety of the trip because we didnt have the money to cover a hotel or another vrbo. It was better than nothing but not worth the money spent. Has so much potential if the owner would hire professional cleaning and pest control companies. Gorgeous land to explore as long as the people that were hunting werent out there.

Response from VrboOwner on 24 November 2025
I am writing in response to the complaint filed by a recent guest alleging the presence of mold and a bug infestation at my property. I must categorically refute these claims as both false and misleading, and I respectfully request that VRBO deny any refund request associated with this complaint.
Regarding the Allegation of Mold:
The assertion that mold exists within the property is entirely unfounded. My family and I regularly occupy this residence on weekends, and we maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and habitability. There is absolutely no mold present in the house. Had such a serious health and structural issue existed, we would neither subject our own family to those conditions nor offer the property for rental. The photographic evidence that the guest provided is questionable, and there is no substantive documentation to support this serious allegation, which leads me to question the veracity and motivation behind this claim.
Regarding the Presence of Insects:
As for the occasional insect, it is important to contextualize the property's location. The residence is situated on more than 28 acres of wooded land in a natural, rural environment. Given this setting, the occasional entry of insects, primarily crickets when screen doors are left open by occupants, is an unavoidable reality of country living, not evidence of neglect or poor maintenance.
