Casa Hibiscus is conveniently located in the quiet Muneco neighborhood at the foot of Mt. Resaca. We offer 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, beach toys, and beach coolers. There are 4 outdoor patios, outdoor shower, & bamboo fencing for privacy. Location is 2 miles from Flamenco beach & a few minutes from town, the ferry, the airport & many other Caribbean beaches. We offer 2 window ACs in the two downstairs bedrooms. We offer ceiling fans in every room of the house. Casa Hibiscus hosts up to 8 guests.

comfortable & relaxing

It had everything we needed for a relaxing 4 days snorkeling on Culebra; a well-designed house with separate spaces, beautiful outdoor patios, private yard and quiet*, friendly neighbors. Just be aware that chickens (and roosters) range freely on Culebra, expect them to make their presence known at all hours, you may want ear plugs to sleep. We loved it. Thanks Dawn!

A Home Away from Home

Dawn is an excellent host. She provided much need information to find house. The property is well maintained and you get the best of both worlds, a country side location and 5 min away from one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Upon walking in, the house felt like home, fresh, roomy and well organized, and thus far, we felt completely detach from the world and back to our roots. I suggests you experience the beauty of Culebra at Dawn's property.

Was not what was expected

Property had bugs everywhere. Ants crawling on every counter, spiders and lizards everywhere inside, my children got dozens of bites while inside the house sleeping. Only two rooms had working AC, and lastly the only TVs when we wanted to wind down at end of day were in rooms without AC. The property did supply scuba gear, kayaks (but didn’t tell me), chairs, small cooler and filtered water which was great and our visit to Flamenco Beach and Tamarindo Beach was amazing! Please note property is tucked back on other side of airport so long drive to everything. There is also a very determined rooster who likes to wake you up at dawn very close to house. After checkout the owners messaged me very late at night (11 PM) to tell me, we left cushions out of place (futon mat on floor by TV three feet from where it was when we arrived) which we pulled out because the tiny couch and only sits 2 people. That we left blankets and other things out on couches Etc.

Comfortable

At first we had a little difficulty finding the place, but once there it was a pleasant stay. We drove to around the idland and enjoyed our stay.
