This vacation home is located in a resort on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Corinth and the mountains of the mainland. The nearest beach is at a distance of 800 meters, the nearest mini-market in the village as well as the nearest restaurant by the sea are also 800 meters away. The lively towns of Xylokastro and Kiato are good for shopping, both local products and international brands. Historical sites such as ancient Corinth, ancient Sikyon, Lake Stymfalia, numerous Byzantine monasteries, exceptional natural beauty and mountain villages are within a 30 minute to 1 hour and 30 minute drive. Both in summer and winter this area is worth visiting and offers a wide range of sports (snow skiing in Helmos), cultural activities (Sikyon festival), nature experiences (Lake Doxa, lake cave). Epidavros, Mystras, Olympia, medieval castles and other interesting places in Peloponnese can be visited within a day trip (2 hours 30 or longer drive). Delphi can be reached within 2 hours 30 minutes via the Rio-Antirio bridge. The main distances: from the port in Patras it is 2 hours 30 (138 km), from Athens airport 2 hours drive and from Athens center 1 hour 30 (115 km).
