About this property

FRONTBEACH APARTMENT-180° SEAVIEW

This is a completely new renovated 80m2 apartment with large entrance, 2 bedrooms, living room connected to the kitchen with American bar. One private Bathroom with bath, shower and WC. Kitchen, fully equipped with cooker and fridge. You will find plenty of plates, cups, pots and pans at your disposal.
There will be fresh bed linen and towels for you to use. We just want to make you feel home.
The two bedrooms and the living room has direct aces to the 10m long balcony, facing a 180° sea view. There is a small cosy beach just in front of the building at 2 meters distance with nice charming coffee shop.
The neighbourhood is very quite and safe. At the evenings you can sleep with the sound of the sea coming through your open window.
The place is giving you a feeling that you are living on a boat with its unlimited sea view.
From our place you can walk to the Kalamia beach, the main beach of Korinthos. It will take you like 10-15 min. There you can find nice coffee shops and restaurants.
Please note that every Saturday there is a big market, next to the big church of Agios Georgios, starting at 9 am till 13 -14h. You can find everything there - fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, clothes etc.
Also on 150m from the place, there are many shops open in the morning selling fresh fruits and vegetables, fish and bread. Please note that they are open only in the morning till 14H.
There is a big supermarket VASILOPOULOS also in the area.

Lovely apartment by beach

Great apartment size and position. Helpful notes left re area with suggestions. Car parking usually fairly easy to get outside.Apartment needs some attention to older equipment.Lots and lots of stuff in apartment as it was someone's home not a full time rental. Wonderful balcony and views. Great access to small beach across road.

This property should not be on VRBO

The property is in a run down apartment block and it is residential not a holiday apartment. It was still full of the the owners stuff, it was not clean, the BBQ was in a disgusting state, the towels were horrible and so was the bedding - I had to buy a quilt and towels. The handle came off the door and we had to buy a screwdriver to repair it. The only thing going for this apartment is the view - Nothing else - It was not worth the money I paid for it.

Awesome place in an amazing location

My wife and I stayed at this property for two weeks. If you're looking for a true Greek experience with an amazing view of the Corinthian Bay, this is the place for you. We spent the majority of our time on the balcony (why stay inside when there's million dollar view outside). The apartment is on the third floor of a five story building. There's a coffee shop on the first floor. The water is directly across a lightly used street from the building. The coffee shop/bistro has a seating area directly on the water that's fun to watch from the balcony. This is in a Greek neighborhood - not touristy at all. There is a pedestrian area full of shops, restaurants, etc. about two easy blocks away. We based out of this location and took day trips all over the Peloponesse and part of the mainland and it worked out great. Super easy and no packing/unpacking. I would definitely rent a car if staying here and planning on touring around. Parking is easy to find. It's also super safe. We walked all over the area at different times of the day and night and never felt threatened at all - definitely not something you can say about many American cities. I will say this is not a luxury place. It's super clean but not luxury. That didn't bother us a bit. So - stay here - you won't regret it!!!

ZunĂ€chst das Positive: die Lage ist wirklich gut und der Ausblick vom Balkon aufs Meer traumhaft. Auch der Kontakt zu Madlen hat - allerdings nur schriftlich - gut funktioniert.Jetzt wird es leider negativ: die Wohnung selbst ist, sagen wir mal, gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig um nicht zu sagen messihaft.Vielleicht darf man fĂŒr den relativ gĂŒnstigen Preis auch nicht viel erwarten, aber ganz sicher mehr, als das hier angebotene.Vieles von dem Mobiliar war in einem traurigen Zustand und sollte dringend ausgetauscht/ erneuert werden. Die KĂŒche mĂŒsste mal entfettet (auch in den SchrĂ€nken) und „entrĂŒmpelt“ werden! Es gibt einiges an alten GerĂ€ten, die man wirklich nicht mehr benutzen möchte
 und auch nicht benötigt. Das Gleiche gilt fĂŒr das Geschirr, etc. Hier wĂ€re weniger deutlich mehr! Der angepriesene Grill war ĂŒbrigens nicht nutzbar, sondern ein rostiges Etwas.Das Bett im dem Zimmer mit der SchiebetĂŒr ist mehr eine Liege und sollte zumindest mit einer vernĂŒnftigen dicken Matratze bestĂŒckt werden. Auch ein Schrank fĂŒr die Bekleidung wĂ€re wĂŒnschenswert- wir haben aus dem Koffer gelebt. 2 HandtĂŒcher (1x groß, 1x klein) pro Person fĂŒr 3 Wochen ist dĂŒrftig! Auch GeschirrabtrockentĂŒcher waren Mangelware.So könnte man mit vielen Dingen -leider- noch weiter fortfahren
Wir können die Wohnung nicht weiterempfehlen.

Super Lage am Meer! Tolle Wohnung!

Eine tolle Wohnung! Zentral gelegen mit Blick aufs Meer. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Sehr gastfreundliche Unterbringung.Toller Kontakt. Land und Leute sind aufgeschlossen und kommunikativ. Alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Korinth ist eine Reise wert. Von hier aus auch nicht weit bis Athen!Gerne immer wieder!!!

Urlaub direkt am Meer und mitten im Leben

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Wohnung von Madlen in Korinth sehr genossen. Die Lage direkt am Meer, dem kleinen Kiesstrand und dem CafĂ© ist toll. In der NĂ€he gibt es ein kleines LebensmittelgeschĂ€ft, in dem man das Nötigste kaufen kann. Nicht allzu weit weg gibt es aber auch SupermĂ€rkte und einen BĂ€cker.. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Ă€lteren Haus, ist aber renoviert und gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Es war viel vorhanden: u.a. GewĂŒrze, Öl, Kaffee, Tee uvm. und Sachen fĂŒr den Strand. Der Wasserboiler und die Waschmaschine haben prima funktioniert, und Madlen stand uns per Whatsapp immer zur VerfĂŒgung. Wir können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Appartement agréable

L'appartement correspond bien à la description faite. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour à 5. Il est situé dans un immeuble vieillissant, face à la mer, puisqu'il n'y a que la rue à traverser pour y accéder. Ce n'est pas un appartement "grand luxe" mais tout y est pour un confort suffisant. La petite plage juste en face est trÚs peu utilisée (probablement à cause des galets) mais l'eau y est trÚs claire... et chaude ! On peut y voir des poissons avec les masques fournis dans l'appartement. Il y a une grande plage à quelques centaines de mÚtres, beaucoup plus touristique. Les bars et restaurants sont proches, ainsi que les supérettes. Il est donc possible de faire le maximum de choses à pied.

Notre hÎte s'est montrée disponible et agréable dans nos échanges merci encore. Le logement a une belle vue mer et sur les couchers de soleil sur l'eau, bien placé,joliment décoré, nous avons trouvé les lits confortables. Seul avertissement pour les locataires, plus de deux clims en fonctionnement et il y a des risques de coupures d'électricité, mieux vaut n'avoir besoin que des deux chambres et non du canapé du salon. Posizione ottima. Affaccio incantevole sul mare. Detto questo, passiamo al resto: proprietaria assente e sfuggevole; annuncio ingannevole su parcheggio, internet, TV, climatizzatore. Energia elettrica insufficiente (basta accendere un condizionatore e la caldaia che salta tutto) e, per il ripristino, c' Ăš un pulsante segreto che agli ospiti nel non Ăš dato conoscere!?!?! Parte dell'appartamento e dell'edificio Ăš sporca e fatiscente. Infine, avevo chiesto dell'acqua all'arrivo, ovviamente pagandola: neanche una goccia!!!

Adresse à conserver précieusement

Appartement trÚs, trÚs agréable, les pieds dans l'eau, bien situé car à l'écart du tumulte de la ville mais proche de toutes les commodités . AprÚs des journées à sillonner le PéloponnÚse nous étions heureux de retrouver cet endroit dans lequel nous nous sentions chez nous. L'appartement joliment décoré, fonctionnel et trÚs bien équipé nous permettait de nous détendre en cuisinant ou tout simplement prendre un verre sur la terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur la mer Ionienne en attendant le coucher de soleil... sans oublier les baignades dans une eau limpide sur cette petite plage trÚs tranquille ! Par ailleurs, à l'écart du tourisme de masse nous avons vécu ces journées au rythme grec avec les gens du coin dont l'accueil et la gentillesse nous ont particuliÚrement touchés. Le bar du rez de chaussée n'est en aucun cas bruyant mais trÚs pratique pour le café du matin ou l'apéro du soir ! L'accueil y est fort sympathique. Nous y avons passé un séjour incroyable qui nous a permis de découvrir la GrÚce et ses habitants sous un angle complÚtement différent. C'est une adresse que nous conservons précieusement car nous sommes certains de revenir à Corinthe pour continuer nos pérégrinations à travers le PéloponnÚse (il nous reste encoure beaucoup à découvrir...). Merci à Madlen pour avoir patienté et organisé notre arrivée tardive ainsi que pour ses conseils de visites que nous avons suivis quasiment à la lettre ! A trÚs bientÎt donc. Lovely appartment, great location and view

Corinth is a bit off the beaten track for the usual tourist to stay, most just visit ancient Corinth, the canal and other attractions. But staying in Corinth gives you a real flavour of Greece- not just the commercialised tourist experience. Modern Corinth has some lovely areas, seafront restaurants and pebble beaches with warm, crystal clear seas, but also does reflect the current state of the Greek economy, so some buildings, shops and infrastructure could do with some TLC, including close to the apprartment. The appartment is not in the tourist quarter as such, so you get a real experience of living amongst the (very friendly) community. Inside the appartment it is light and comfortable with airconditioing and all creature comforts and a beautiful sea view from the large balcony. It is on the first floor- there is a bar ( regularly used by the locals and swimmers) below ( convenient!) with seats/tables on the sea front- people stay up quite late here, but we did not find it noisy- the constant wash of the sea is the main "noise" and this is pleasant. You can wander down the stairs, pop in for a swim and wander back. There is (free) parking outside, we never had a problem parking- having a car is a good idea in order to explore the area and go up to Athens too. Madlen, the lovely owner, could not have been more helpful, from the information and guidance offered before we arrived, meeting us at the appartment, and giving advice on places to visit and help whist we were there if we needed it. Ancient Corinth is a must, and the impressive canal, and of course Athens, but we discovered some beautiful beaches and scenery within half an hours drive- the ruined harbour of ancient corinth made for interesting snorkelling, though there is little to see above water- the beach there was empty except for us, and lovely although the approach is not too attractive! Lots of local restaurants ( look out for the family runs ones- see tripadvisor) and lcoal shops and market within a five minute walk All in all, my wife, daughter and I thorougly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone seeking a more authenitic experience of Greece, overlooking the sea with lovely sunsets and crystal clear seas. Not to mention Madlen, who could not have been more helpful.

Excellent Stay!

Excellent stay!! The owner was very prompt in all my communications with her. She picked us up from the train station on time and even gave us a quick driving overview of some places in Corinth to find groceries, etc. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It was a very fun place to stay with the sound of the waves at times quiet, and at others crashing! The water was beautiful and we swam in it for a refreshing experience after being in town. We attended the nearby farmer's/flea market on Saturday which was very close by and was a "cultural" experience! We loved that almost everything was within walking distance and it was in a very safe neighborhood with both internal and external security. We never heard any noises from other tenants in the building and we were fortunate to have no neighbors on either side of us so we enjoyed our outdoor veranda many times every day. It was a very short walk into the central part of the city where numerous eateries and shops were available all on pedestrian walkways only! The restaurants we enjoyed the most were the "#1 Restaurant", "The Corinthian House Grill", "Petries" for Gelato, and the bakery "Mulwvas." Overall, this apartment and its owner were wonderful and we would most definitely stay here again! Thank you, Madlen!!!

Super August stay in Corinth

Our family found the apartment to be ideally situated: directly in front of a quiet beach and just two short, quiet blocks away from the town centre shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment itself feels great – squeeky-clean and it’s clearly been very recently refurbished with really modern styling - white painted walls and ceilings, with glossy wood floors. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are all equipped with very new furnishings which are all set-off by the bright dĂ©cor. It faces the west which means you can see the sunset and the beach from the balcony. For travelling around outside of Corinth we used the efficient bus service, with a bus stop a block away from the apartment and the bus station in town for most of our travel, we also hired a car, covering over 1.5kKm during our stay, parking outside the apartment was no trouble at all, always plenty of space. Madlen kept us informed at all times prior to the rental and maintained a highly responsive watch on our communications during our stay –e.g. Madlen almost immediately after sending an email to Madlen she sent us the bus and train time-tables, plus a whole host of information covering places of interest we might like to visit- there are a whole raft of nearby classical sites we visited. Apart from being attentive and instantly responsivene, another example of how thoughtful and helpful Madlen and Davy where, is that they met us at Athens airport at 5:30am to give us the apartment keys and showed us just how short the walk was to the airport’s railway station in time to take to first train to Corinth and our holiday which we loved.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed at this wonderful apartment for a week and it we really enjoyed our time there! The apartment is very spacious and is very well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need when you are at home. We cooked most of our meals there. There are a couple of markets close by and there is a big market two blocks from the apartment that has fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and bakery which is very convenient. There is plenty of street parking and also a garage close by. The apartment is so comfortable and the views from the balcony is so gorgeous that we had a hard time leaving to go out sightseeing. The host is very responsive and very caring. She has thought of everything before renting this space out. And, she is very accommodating. We want to thank her for helping us have a great vacation and always answering our questions with a smile. We could not have asked for a better home away from home while in Greece. We loved it and would want to come and stay here again!!!

This property is so special. Situated on a small quiet beach, gives you the feeling that you are living on a boat. In the evenings you can sleep with the sound of the sea. The area is so calm and relaxing and there is a cosy coffee shop just down the building, at front sea.
