Cintenat is a 15th-century hamlet offering 5 rural holiday rentals and 2 guest rooms (the swimming pool is shared). It is surrounded by unspoiled nature—free of pesticides—but with very limited cell service and internet access.
Biodiversity abounds: a variety of birds, deer, wild boars, bats, as well as insects such as flies, woodlice, and dragonflies...
And we ask that everyone respect all living things.
Accommodation
The hamlet of Cintenat dates back to the 15th century, and we are working to renovate it in harmony with nature (The accommodation is functional but not luxurious: no television, hair dryer, or microwave...).
Cintenat will reveal itself to those who know how to listen to it and understand it. Its architecture, history, and setting make it a unique and magical place.

The “Joshua” holiday rental is located at the front of the hamlet. It is on one level, but to access it, you’ll still need to climb a few small stone steps. It is spacious and bright. Its terrace allows you to enjoy the welcome shade of a cherry tree, surrounded by the scent of the nearby eucalyptus.
Guest Access
You’ll be staying in the “Joshua” cottage on a self-catering basis, meaning you’ll manage your stay independently. We do not provide towels, toilet paper, etc...
We do not charge a cleaning fee through Airbnb. Please clean the cottage before your departure; cleaning supplies are provided.
We appreciate it when our guests sort their trash.

Breakfast (€12 per person) and dinner are available upon reservation 48 hours in advance.
