Condo is conveniently located on the beach and several popular eateries like Kyle G Prime Seafood & Steaks, Shuckers, Surfside Grill plus grocery, gas and more. Just over the causeway is downtown Jensen Beach where you can enjoy the various activities including the weekly Jammin' Jensen, Crawdaddy's with live music, and the famous Pineapple Festival. Updated Unit has everything you need to enjoy your stay plus a coastal charm.
There is an application fee of $100 after booking payable to the condo association.

Hidden costs

No directions for check out, no cleaning supplies, a surprise bill for cleaning and an appliance that didn’t work right made this a very disappointing rental.

Close to ocean beaches was nice

Our owner was responsive to our needs for the most part, other than our internet and Netflix were delayed through no fault of her own. She was able to get a technician out to our unit to fix the problem after he spent 2 hours at our unit getting things operational which we appreciated and thanked her for. No other problems occurred with the internet and TV services after this incident which we were satisfied with. If some future guests decide to bring bicycles they should either check with the association as to where the storage area is or be relegated to keeping their bikes inside the unit as we received a letter indicating that it was against the rules to chain lock the bikes to anywhere outside other than the storage area which we were unaware where this area was until we were informed by email that we could not store our bikes outside but only in a specified storage area. Also, the apartment unit we leased had an additional fee of $100 for being a part of the association which was passed on to us unexpectedly after we had paid all of the required fees specified on the VRBO website. Therefore, that ended up costing us the aforementioned amount which future renters should be aware of may be a part of an unexpected cost to their lease. One additional problem that occurred was the availability of a mailbox. Given that we were renting the unit for 2 months, we needed access to the one provided for our unit as we had to keep getting our mail. Unfortunately, we were unable to be furnished a key to the box until over two weeks after our arrival which caused us to receive some of our bills later than expected. In the future, a spare key that the landlord can provide renters would be helpful to prevent future problems with access to mailboxes for extended stays beyond one month. One other incident occurred after we left in which we were messaged that six large spoons were missing of which we had no knowledge as to the location of the six spoons, other than the fact that we had no use of these missing utensils and that we did not take them. We suggested that she look in the dishwasher and/or the backside of the utensil tray as we definitely would not have thrown them out, especially in regards to that many missing spoons. Other than the previously mentioned incidents, we had an enjoyable stay.
