The area around Ytre Ålvik in beautiful Hardanger offers excellent swimming and fishing opportunities and is an ideal base for both relaxation and active nature experiences. Hardanger is known for its dramatic and impressive landscape with fjords, mountains and excellent hiking opportunities right on the doorstep. For longer excursions, we recommend travelling to Bergen or further into Sogn, where you will find some of Norway's most spectacular scenery. The region is also home to famous attractions such as the Folgefonna glacier, the impressive Låtefossen waterfall and the iconic Trolltunga mountain hike.
