Here you will find the tranquility of the woods, fresh mountain air, picturesque villages, medieval castles and hermitages. The location on the edge of the Casentino Nature Park invites you to relax, hike and bike. Nearby is the mountain monastery of Camaldoli (15km), nestled in high woods that offer cool freshness even in summer. Worth seeing also the castle and the monastery church of Romena (7km) and the charming town of Poppi (10km) with its imposing castle, various trattorias and stores and a colorful weekly market. From Pratovecchio you can also reach Arezzo (50km) by Casentino train; Florence 50km.
