A friends getaway to relax, grill and swim in the pool. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was Zen and positive. We went late June and the weather was breezy but comfortably warm. A huge plus was that the host was very easy to communicate with. We are already thinking about booking this spot for next year. Thank you
Overall, we had an amazing experience with our stay the house and the space was amazing and our house was always tentative and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend.
This property has it all! Wonderfully updated interior and great views. And especially good outdoor spaces. Bathrooms have been updated and the interior of the house has a clean feel. We used it as a place to gather for a family event.
This house was more than enough for our family of 5...very spacious and clean. The detached yoga structure is extra I believe but we didn't have use for it. I had to message the owner for the gate and front door code but he was responsive and got it to us in time for our check in. The AC blows cold, there are plenty of kitchen items (couldn't find the microwave though), a washer and dryer and fully stocked coffee station. This has to have one of the best pool & jacuzzi in the area... I couldn't keep my kids out of them! I highly recommend this house for your stay in Joshua Tree. Isolated and peaceful...wish we had been able to stay longer.

Beautiful Home, but the host made the stay uncomfortable
While the home itself is beautiful, the experience was unfortunately ruined by the host's invasive and unprofessional behavior. There were undisclosed cameras on the property, including ones facing the pool and hot tub, which felt like a serious invasion of privacy. The first night, the host blew up my phone with texts about the number of guests and cars, demanding additional payment on the spot. He clearly was watching the cameras, yet this was not disclosed anywhere on the property details page.Though the listing says “parties and events are allowed,” he made us feel like we were breaking the rules. After I sent him the extra money, he ignored my questions about the property, only messaging to enforce rules or promote his own ATV rentals and sound system, which he pressured us to use instead of our own, citing noise concerns. Oddly, he said we couldn’t use any speakers inside or outside except in a “studio room,” yet his outdoor system was supposedly fine. There’s also a pet fee. It all felt like a money grab.I wouldn’t have minded some of these things if he had communicated in a nicer tone, but instead, his approach was aggressive and gaslight-y, making us feel unwelcome and constantly monitored.I’ve stayed in many rentals before and have never experienced a host like this. I wanted to recommend this house to friends and family who frequently visit the area, but after this experience, I will not.

We had such a great stay at Wind Hill. Honestly, the pictures didn’t do justice. The place was very clean & pool was well maintained. the place has such a very relaxing vibe. You can also request the “Yuga room” that has 4 queen beds if you have a larger group. The host, Moziko, was very communicative. He would reply to my messages even at 3 or 4 in the morning. He knows his property by heart. And he was very very helpful. The only hiccup we had was the spa. The main switch wasn’t on the entire time so the water didn’t heat up, so make sure the main switch is on once you get there coz it takes a while to warm up the spa. Other than that, my group and I are already planning to stay again at Wind Hill some other time.
The location and outdoor space were amazing and accommodated our large group really well. Moziko was very communicative and answered all of my questions leading up to our stay and while we were onsite. I will say, if you need to do any work, the wifi is not super reliable and we had to take turns jumping on to finish up work on Friday. If you're coming to unwind and disconnect, this property is perfect! The pool and outdoor area are where we spent the most time and we loved every minute out there! The only other thing I think is worth mentioning is that we ended up having to pay a little more for extra towels for our group. We didn't have enough pool / bath towels and we were asked to contribute towards the water bill if they provided us with more- which would have been fine if we knew this ahead of time, or we would have brought some of our own towels from home.
