10 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, this home features full-size pickleball and basketball courts, a 30-ft outdoor movie screen, private hot tub, fire pit, and stock tank pool. The Mystic Lounge offers a dedicated meditation and sound bath space, while the Desert Disco Bar and stargazing setup deliver evening entertainment. Built for active groups and families who want recreation, outdoor cinema nights, and desert views.

Surrounded by native desert landscape, you`ll wake to mourning doves, watch hummingbirds at sunrise and sunset, and enjoy some of Southern California`s darkest night skies. Relax on our Space Deck for incredible stargazing, or grab one of our UV flashlights to spot glowing scorpions after dark.

We had a great stay in Joshua Tree, the location is wonderful and secluded, with stunning views especially at sunrise and sunset. The nights were magical with incredible stargazing from the hot tub under the milky way!

The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. The house is close to the park entrance and restaurants. We unfortunately visited during one of the few rainy days, so we didn’t make use of the many available activities around the house.

Great space for a variety of activities

We rented this vrbo during a heat wave, so we spent a lot longer inside than out. The AC systems worked well and we had a great time using the kitchen and media area. Id love to come back sometime to use the baskwtball, pickleball, and bocce ball courts as well as the outdoor bar. Zack and Bex were great hosts and responded very quickly. A few small thinga to improve: Some of the fans did not work, i expect the remotes just need a new battery. The AC could not go lower than 75. This is fine for the deaert, but qould have loved it to reach 70. Finally, guests should remember to check the jacuzzi upon check in and fill it up so that it gets hot by the night. Otherwise we loved our time. We had a small elopement ceremony at the archway that the hosts set up near the casita, and it worked perfectly. Looking forward to renting again later this winter

Wonderful stay

We scheduled a Girls Weekend here and it did not disappoint! Plenty of room and beds so it did not feel cramped, along with some of the coolest Insta features! We loved the hot tub and soaking pool after a day hiking in JT. Great stay, highly recommend.

Gorgeous in every way

We traveled with 3 of our kids for Thanksgiving week to get away. It was such a relief to bring our fur baby as well (holiday boarding costs!). This home had everything you could want! Beautiful decor, fully contained yard, hot tub, lovely outdoor dining & seating spaces… We prepped our Thanksgiving meal together, enjoyed the comfortable sectional for football & movies, cooked a Tri tip in the large fire pit, gazed at the stars, ran the dog, and just relaxed. We made it to the park twice and even brought our oldest son’s dirt bike. This home was just ideal for us. We would love to visit again in the future.

A relaxing and calm place

Loved the place. So quiet and calm, with an amazing view. Perfect to watch the sunrise and the sunset. The house was sparkling clean. Everything worked fine. Clear and fast communication with host. I do recommend.

Why they chose this property

When we had the idea to purchase a home out in JT to be closer to Bex family, we never could have imagined finding Sapphire Haven. After a casual dinner with Becca's family one night they mentioned their friends were moving to Tennessee and wanted to sell their house. We at first thought it was a joke to go and check out their friend's home, but after showing up, we found out how magical this place could be. After 10 months of countless hours sharpening our handy man skills, sweating and getting used to the hot desert, Sapphire Haven was born! What at first was an idea for an Airbnb has turned into an event venue, a yoga retreat setting and wedding venue that we tied the know at in May of 2022!

What makes this property unique

Sapphire Haven is a magical place where everyone leaves better off when they arrived, simply put. It is a place where new beginnings start. From us getting married there in 2022 with 200 of our friends in family, to having a concert and campout with 60+ people where many people played for the first time, to multiple yoga retreats where people have never hosted an event before in their life. Sapphire Haven is the place to grow!
