Carentan Stay

First impressions matter. This property is part of a multi-unit building. The entryway and the stairwell was extremely dirty and smelly. The actual unit was great — clean, well maintained, and well equipped. The location was great with easy access to local highways and supermarkets. The downtown and waterfront, with a number of great restaurants, were in easy walking distance. The internet/wifi was very good once we got the network identified and received the password. The only problem with the property was the common areas of the building.

Nicely renovated appartement in shabby house

We were very sceptic when we approached the building of the appartement. The house and the overall outer impression was very shabby. When entering the appartement, we saw a nicely renovated flat, very well equipped. All machines were working, WiFi signal was very good. The cleanilyness could be better, since the first thing I did was sweeping the floors. Beds are nice anf comfortable. Bathroom is small and functional. The house is very alert, which was not a problem for us, but probably for the neighbors when our baby was crying. Bakery and large supermarket can be reached withing 300m, downtown and playground ~700m - a nice walk. Good for trips to the landing beaches, and historic sites.

Le Cotentin "Appartement bien équipé et propre, mais les parties communes pour accéder à l'appartement laissaient à désirer et n'étaient pas éclairées. Nous avons apprécié la flexibilité pour entrer et sortir de l'appartement (code et boîte sécurisée pour les clefs). La localisation était également un plus ainsi que la possibilité de se garer au pied de l'immeuble."
