Absolutely LOVED this place!! The owners are super sweet and very helpful. I took the wrong turn and ended up having to call them at 2am and he gave me Directions on how to get to the correct spot. Helped me unload. Place is very clean and rustic. I loved the big windows and heated floor! Very quiet place if you are looking for a little bit of seclusion but not too far away from town. Saw a little bit of wildlife out there as well. Will definitely book again!

Perfect spot to see the northern lights!
I can't say enough good things about Jade & Mark's place! It was the perfect size space for my 15 y/o daughter and I. The bed was comfy and we were plenty warm when it was single digits outside. We even named the moose Steven lol :) We were close enough to Fairbanks to go there for lunch, but far enough away to watch the auroras dancing in the sky, so the location is perfect. Mark even came to make sure we saw the lights the last night we were there! They were very accommodating when our travel plans changed and allowed us to stay an extra night (and we felt terrible when we overslept and had to rush to make sure they had time to clean before their next guests arrived!) Overall, if you're looking for a cozy spot to stay that's just out of the city, but still close to drive in for food, and has a giant window to watch the northern lights so you don't have to sit outside and freeze, then this is the place to be!!

Great launching and viewing locale
Loved the location north of town away from city lights - with a large window through which to watch for Northern Lights. Hosts were kind enough to notify us very late one night when lights were active, since we hadn't seen them yet. Easy to explore greater Fairbanks in all directions - and we did! Warm floors for cold nights, super comfortable bed, spacious and complete accommodations. Thanks Jade and Mark for everything!

My husband and I have lived in Alaska for 25 years. We love the great outdoor s that Alaska has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Right outside the city hustle and bustle but yet close enough for many activities. Winter time you can see the northern lights right above our location through the large picture window. We also have heated floors for the cold winter months.

What makes this property unique

Heated floors to keep you feet toasty in the winter. We also have a very large picture window for viewing the northern lights.
