Belle Maison Ancienne Dans un Domaine Équestre

Our house, built in 1870, is located in the heart of a vast estate consisting of a manor house and its outbuildings. We are surrounded by forests stretching over several dozen hectares and meadows, home to about twenty horses. An exceptional setting just 25 minutes from the heart of Bordeaux, offering tranquility, the coolness of the adjacent forest, and the occasional nighttime visit from deer and wild boars!
There are three properties on the estate: our neighbors’ across the way and our landlords’ next to our house. Everyone lives completely independently and rarely crosses paths, but please be aware that you won’t be alone on the estate! The house has its own section of the garden with a “terrace,” outdoor furniture, a barbecue, and outdoor lighting.

The house is built on three levels; the ground floor, which serves as storage and a laundry room, is uninhabited. All living spaces are on the first and second floors. On the ground floor: a first bedroom; a spacious kitchen; a living room; a large home office, and a bathroom with a separate toilet.
On the second floor: a second bedroom with a shower room and a separate toilet, and a third bedroom with a balcony.

Numerous bike paths allow you to explore on foot or by bike along marked trails, surrounded by forest and free of cars. You can easily visit the many vineyards of Graves and Sauternes, which are nearby.

On the road to Arcachon, the ocean is a 45-minute drive away, and the Basque Country and San Sebastián are just 2 hours and 30 minutes away!

Staying here is a unique experience, close to Bordeaux, the ocean, the Landes region, and Spain, all while remaining completely untouched by the hustle and bustle of summer…!
