Come enjoy this spacious open concept home with your family! This house features a chefs kitchen with high end appliances. You will find everything you need to enjoy your stay including a fully stocked kitchen and all basic pantry items. The dining table seat 16 comfortably. Enjoy sitting by the fire or watching a movie on the 85" smart TV with surround sound. This home sits on a golf course and is in walking distance to the REC area and park/beach. There is a boat launch, tennis courts, basket ball and kids play area. *no AC , we use a whole house fan to cool off if needed.

We absolutely loved this home! It was so spacious and comfortable. Location near the rec area was awesome! View from the back deck to the golf course was really pretty with great "nature tv!" As many people have mentioned, the house was well stocked with olive oil, spices, condiments, foil, bags of all sizes and even some canned goods! We also loved that there were beach towels so we didn't take up valuable cargo space for those! Communication with the owner was quick and easy! We will definitely come back!

Almanor get away

Beautiful golf course home

Great stay in beautiful golf course home. Hosts are very responsive. The home is very well stocked making our stay that much easier. We definitely recommend this home for your Lake Almanor vacation.

Beautiful setting

This home is beautiful and lots of room for a couple of families . The home had everything you could possibly need and down to the little things you sometimes forget . The Beds were very comfortable and we would definitely rent again

A favorite!

We have family in LAW and have rented several houses over the years. This one might be one of our favorites. Good location, plenty of space, lots of amenities and lovely views. Would love to return!

The best cabin!

We loved our recent stay at the cabin! Plenty of space for our family to sleep and hang out. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and we loved the extra long dining table to play games at. The place is decorated so cute. The host was very responsive. We definitely will be booking again! Highly recommend!

Great location, amazing quality

Lovely "cabin." we have stayed here 3 times in the last year and it never fails to please. Quiet location, comfortable beds, cozy, comfortable, beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and kitchen tools. The owner is incredibly responsive and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Very Comfortable for adults and children. Great kitchen for more than one person prep and cooking. Refrigerator could be larger for how many it sleeps. Stocked with plenty of basic food and kitchen items. Beds and furniture are all very comfortable.Beautiful view of trees and golf course. Great location.

Almanor Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this well stocked, comfortable home. We especially enjoyed the outdoor covered overhang for BBQ's and relaxing. The home is in a nice location overlooking the golf course. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star all around review was we felt it could be cleaner.

Great Space and Affordable!

Jackie is very responsive and has a gorgeous home. We were pleasantly surprised at the grandeur of the home and the heated floors. Made work in the snow just a little more comfortable.

A great stay!

Two families with 6 kids between us stayed for 3 nights. The house was very comfortable - the long table could seat us all, the couch, beds, pillows, etc were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked - we did a lot of cooking and felt well supported. Jackie was communicative and flexible. The location is great. We explored Lassen, the National Forest, and Lake Almanor. We would definitely stay here again!

Our favorite place to stay in Chester

This place is perfect if you want quiet, luxury, and solitude in the forest. So many VRBOs and missing something essential - here everything not only works but is top quality! If that is not enough, it is stocked with a lot of the little things....coffee, spices, tupperware, and condiments. I will keep coming back (as long as the host will have me!)

The home is in a great location in a family friendly community with lots of amenities. The home was well stocked, ample parking, and the host responded immediately when asked questions. The beds were incredibly comfortable and although there is no A/C the house fan worked great. The home was remodeled downstairs however upstairs shows that the home is not modern nor fully remodeled. The back patio clearly had not been cleaned for a while as evidenced by the bat poop we had to clean upon arrival. There was a shredded American flag on the ground and the patio furniture was covered in dust. There was dead flies throughout the home as well as dead wasps. The kitchen has open shelves that are super cute but all the dishes and cups were covered in dust and dead knats. There is a extra tv room in the garage but the garage needed to be cleaned and organized so letting kids play in there was not possible.

Great long weekend at the lake

This is the perfect spot for 2 or 3 families. We had a wonderful stay. The house was big and comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 6 kids. Our boys loved the bunk room. It was a super hot weekend and without A/C the upstairs was pretty warm in the afternoons, but downstairs stayed pretty cool. The driveway is steep, but we had plenty of room to turn around with a trailer at the bottom. We were able to fit 2 trucks, an SUV and a bass boat easily. The private boat ramp was perfect. It was very close and never crowded. We would stay here again. Thanks!

When can we go back...

Our family had such a wonderful time at this house. It is in a quiet neighborhood with everything someone might need. We settled in and then went to the Rec Center around the corner that had all kinds of cool playground equipment and lake access. The house had everything we needed even an extra charger that we forgot. My kids loved the "toy room" which was the master closet and the cozy blankets to watch Netflix on the couch with. The beds were extremely comfortable. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay especially when the power went out. We're already talking about when to go back.

The house easily accommodated the 6 adults and two children in our group. We appreciated that each bedroom was an en suite. The view of the golf course is lovely. The home had pretty much everything we needed in terms of amenities and supplies. The downsides were that the espresso machine shown in photos and the list of amenities was no longer there, and the coffee maker that was there did not work. The host had another sent to the house as soon as possible. Luckily we had no one with mobility issues because even the ground floor suite was only accessible via stairs. We are pretty casual people but the house was not as clean as one would expect. The concrete floors were somewhat sticky and several kitchen items, such as the knife block, trash can lid area, and some open shelving items were not clean. The stairs are very creaky and loud. We enjoyed the large TV in the living room, and the kids loved the toys. I appreciate the host communicating throughout the process.

Love this place !!!

This house has everything you need and is right on the golf course! The layout is custom and very accommodating - the kitchen is top notch and has everything you need, the 3 full bathrooms are super convenient and the patio area is lovely for morning coffee and watching the golfers play by. We would definitely stay here again! It was in the 90s when we stayed so the upstairs got quite warm without AC but the house fan helped.
