THE SWIMMING POOL IS COMPLETELY PRIVATE AS WELL AS THE PLOT OF MORE THAN 3000 M2. THEY ARE THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE ONLY TENANTS ON THE PROPERTY.

In an old Périgord farmhouse of the 18th century, charming cottage without any vis-à-vis and ensuring the calm and total independence of the tenants. Located at the end of the north Lot et Garonne in PERIGORD POURPRE on the southern limit of the Dordogne and the Lot. In the heart of the Bastides and castles region our cottage welcomes you, in the calm of nature for your excursions
both sporting and cultural as well as gastronomic. You will discover a stone cottage with a refined and original interior decoration combining authenticity and comfort at the end of a restored farmhouse on 2 hectares of woods and meadows. You will enjoy its view of the forest from its swimming pool and its land entirely private and reserved only for guests (traditional in-ground swimming pool of 7mx4m, flat bottom 1.5m, grey liner, interior steps).
Not overlooked. This cottage (65m2) offers a living room (TV) with equipped kitchen area (LV, LL, combined microwave oven...), living room, 2 bedrooms (1x160, 2x90) including 1 with private terrace, shower room and separate WC. Terrace with gas barbecue, wrought iron garden furniture, parasol.
On site direct access to 100 km of forest tracks. Ideal hiking, mountain biking, edge GR.
Nearby (between 5 and 15 km): discovery of the Bastides of Monflanquin, Villeréal and Monpazier; climbing in the listed valley of Gavaudun, visit of the castles of Bonaguil, Biron,.


Gourmet night markets and medieval festivals throughout the summer. Deer bellowing at night from 10/9 to 10/10 on the slopes from the cottage.

A little gem of peace and tranquility!

A wonderful holiday gite, beautifully refurbished throughout and the gite was clean and tidy on arrival.Made to feel very welcome by the owners and care was taken to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The area has many interesting castles and bastide towns within a short distance worth visiting. A perfect holiday destination.Thank you.

A fabulous month in France!!

Veronique and Christophe are perfect hosts.The gite is beautiful and well equipped.We loved the pool and logburner,walks in the woods and shopping at the local bastide town markets.We will be back.Thank you so much .

Fabulous!

Perfect. No other words needed. We had everything we needed, the hosts were lovely and helpful, the house was beautifully thought out, lovingly presented and clean, great patio, pool was well cared for and loungers and parasols available too. The area was amazing for local towns, markets, night markets, chateaux aplenty, longer day trips, and soaking up the gorgeous atmosphere. Our dogs had a lovely time too, a forested area to explore and plenty of garden to sniff around in. We had a relaxing 2 weeks and would highly recommend the property to anyone.
