We absolutely loved our stay at Island Mist B! The house is cozy and felt pretty secluded. The soundproofing is good. We didn't hear the people next door at all. It was clean and very spacious but still cozy. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware and utensils, but there is also a nice little restaurant next door that you can just walk right over to. We loved being able to walk right out onto the beach and the view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. I wasn't ready to leave! We will definitely be back!!

DAY 1: arrived a few hrs early, text the host and they responded within 5 minutes the unit was ready. Really pleased with the space (we have 3 kids, (2) 11 yr old and (1) 21 yr old). The unit was clean and smelled cleaned. Really loving the beach access and views. It's really hard to find a townhouse on the beach that you don't have to cross a street. The only thing they could improve on is (1) wish there was more pillows on the beds (2) the hot water in the master doesn't get hot, it's not freezing but not as hot as I like. The other 2 bathrooms get as hot as you could possibly want though.DAY 2: found a bunch of extra pillows in the upstairs bedroom so that problem is resolved. Lol. Now the shower in the 2nd bedroom upstairs has PLENTY of hot water the handle needs replacing as its hard to get the right temp, took me almost 10 minutes before it didn't burn my skin off. So far we are loving the location and the house, will definitely be trying to stay here next year.DAY 3: notified host about the board on the deck, by the time we got back to our room it was fixed, so awesome job on the fast service. We stayed 4 nights at island mist B and it was so relaxing. Didn't have the crowds like destin but close enough if you wanted/needed to. Will definitely be staying again

Great stay

Overall it is a nice property and is literally right on the beach. The house could use some updating on some fixtures, a rug or carpet downstairs, and the back patio/yard needs a facelift. The patio has a leaky AC unit that is rusted and constantly drips. The small walkway out of the yard to the beach is covered with stickers and weeds. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and would book again!

I absolutely cannot speak highly enough about the location, on the beach, easy to walk to and from for lunch and potty breaks, never crowded in the area which is my favorite thing about the location! The only issue I have had the past two years is there is not enough wash clothes and the kitchen could definitely use containers, utensils and I sadly had to buy a crockpot the last two years since I forgot about it not having one last year! We will definitely be back and hopefully the kitchen will be more equipped. I feel like with $100 it could be a 5star!!

The location is perfect! Beautiful beach view and just steps from the beach. Sitting on the balcony every morning, listening to the waves was the best way to start my day! The place itself is roomy and clean, however it could use some cosmetic improvements as the outside is a bit rundown. The outdoor shower also didn't work during our stay after the first day. Not sure what happened, but it made it difficult to not bring in sand when coming back from the beach. Inside is decorated nicely and furniture is comfortable. The bed in the primary bedroom is insanely loud, if you are sharing the bed with someone you will most likely wake each other up if you have to get up. The bathroom door in the primary is also not level or something as it scrapes the floor and is hard to close, also loud. If your partner gets up to use the bathroom at all, between the bed and the door, it's quite loud. Both simple things to fix though. It can get a bit stuffy on the upper level, but there are ceiling fans to help. Bring a spare fan if you get hot at night. The kitchen offers the staples and has a working icemaker, which we appreciated. We didn't have any issues with not having something, but we also didn't really cook while there. The lower level space was great for my teenager as he had his only little apartment basically. He loved it. Overall, I would definitely stay here again as nothing we encountered was bad enough to outweigh the perfect location and beach access.

I believe I made the same suggestion the last time we stayed here, spend 500 and stock the kitchen! I brought my own crockpot because I knew they didn’t have one last time, definitely could use storage bowls, decent pots, kitchen scissors, clips, etc. We have stayed several years because we love the location so much!! The only main complaint is the a/c, it just doesn’t keep up on the top two floors!! I see the one next to it has 2 units… We also bring fans!!
