This Cottage is perfect for 2! One bedroom one bath Cottage. River front property with beautiful views of the cliff. Fall River is a spring fed river that flows through Hot springs, Evans Plunge and empties into the Cheyenne river. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature! Perfect getaway for 2. Snuggled along the Fall River beneath the red cliffs of Fall River county. It has a Carport for parking, garden path to the cottage & beautiful views. This cozy cottage has 1 bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom and an open living room & Kitchen layout. The deck is equipped with 2 rocking chairs for you to enjoy the views and sounds of nature. Downtown Hot Springs is only 3 miles. There you can shop our unique little shops or walk the Freedom Trail through town to view all the sandstone buildings our town is known for.

Great Stay

This was the perfect cottage for our stay in Hot Springs. Adorable cottage with all the amenities. Jan and Jarvis are great hosts. We have plans to ultimately build a house in the area, and Jarvis was so so kind to offer advice for us. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Relaxing Cottage

Quaint little cottage by creek-so peaceful and relaxing. Cottage is very clean and quiet. Owners had bottled water and cookies waiting for us. This was our 2nd time to stay here and would definitely come back!

Fantastic

Highly recommend C&D's Cottage. Wonderfully appointed, great views, relaxing and restful. Hosts are terrific, and this will be the only place we will stay at in the future.

Amazing time

Our stay was wonderful. The place more than met our expectations. Very clean and up to date. The deck overlooking the bumbling brook was amazing. One of the most relaxing trips we have taken. I highly recommend this property. We met the owners. Wonder kind couple. We will return another time.

Beautiful cottage

Lovely cottage

This was our second time back, and we enjoyed our stay again. Sitting on the deck with the sounds of the river and birds was so relaxing. Love the little addition that was added since last time.

Perfect Hide Away

Everything about this little gem is perfect. We stayed for 6 days and used the cabin as our "home base". It was perfect for 2. Great location!! The cabin was as cute as can be. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and hearing the river. It had a grill and little fire pit. We loved it and hope to go back again. :)

SD vacation

Everything we needed was right there. Super clean. Set up well for two people. Very comfortable and so relaxing to sit on the deck at the end of the day and listen to the river sounds. Easy to find and access. The covered parking was a plus! Definitely recommend this and if we find ourselves back in the area we will stay again!!

Cozy cottage

Beautiful cottage nestled into the southern black hills right outside Hot Springs. Quiet and semi secluded property with an amazing back deck that overlooks a babbling creek! Spent hours in the evenings sitting on the deck just enjoying the scenery and the sound of the water. Wonderful for that couple looking for a peaceful getaway! Will definitely be back soon!!

Charming

Wonderful little gem in the woods. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and watching the deer and turkeys in the yard. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The town leaves a little to be desired, had to drive for restaurants, etc. Used the grill in the evenings for dinner which was nice.

Host was terrible!

If you enjoy being spied on the by the owner of the property this is the perfect place. Informed the owner we would be bringing our 2 pugs in the very first message to her(Both service dogs). Apparently she missed that in my original email because she failed to add in the pet fee. The owner lives in the house next door and messages you when you arrive all of the things that don’t work in the house. She also leaves you a list of stuff she wants you to clean before you leave, but in turn charges you a substantial cleaning fee AND a service charge. Complete rip off and clearly taking advantage of tourists. We also inadvertently dropped an expensive item on the treacherous path back to our vehicle when leaving and had to beg her to leave it out so we could come back pick it up. She finally had someone else toss it out (literally) on her front porch 3 days later. She also made us pay the pet fee before she would return the item we dropped. Sadly if you lived out of state she would not have never returned it. We only slept there, never used anything other than the bed and shower. But she got a lot of money out of us for 2 hot miserable nights compliments of the crappy window air conditioner. So many other great options to stay in the Black Hills I would not bother with this place. Also, bring your own bottled water as they don’t offer sealed drinking water and all the water is well water. Complete disappointment.

This place is a gem. Tucked back from the road and other properties-A perfect couples cabin that is clean and modern with just enough charm.The natural beauty can't be captured in words because there is a river in the backyard framed by mesmerizing red rock cliffs. A cup of coffee on the deck with the gas fire burning was pure heaven. The cabin is stocked with everything you can think of and we enjoyed 2 nights of meals made in the kitchen and on the grill. We easily visited Wind Cave and Custer. My only wish is for a larger more comfortable bed.

It is very cozy and relaxing. Sitting on the deck you listen to the Fall River flowing, and watch the turkeys and deer come into the yard. It is centrally located to many attractions in the area. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

This is our second stay at C&D's cottage. We were here last year around the same time, and as soon as we left we had already decided to come back! We travel cross-country on a motorcycle and this place is one of our favorites. We love riding in the Black Hills/Custer area and coming back to the cottage after a long day of riding is just what we need. Sitting on the back deck listening to the birds and the river is so relaxing. This year we were treated to nightly visits by a group of turkeys who like to roost in the trees. Just an awesome place all the way around. We will be back! Thank you Janice and Jarvis for hosting us again.
