This Cottage is perfect for 2! One bedroom one bath Cottage. River front property with beautiful views of the cliff. Fall River is a spring fed river that flows through Hot springs, Evans Plunge and empties into the Cheyenne river. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature! Perfect getaway for 2. Snuggled along the Fall River beneath the red cliffs of Fall River county. It has a Carport for parking, garden path to the cottage & beautiful views. This cozy cottage has 1 bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom and an open living room & Kitchen layout. The deck is equipped with 2 rocking chairs for you to enjoy the views and sounds of nature. Downtown Hot Springs is only 3 miles. There you can shop our unique little shops or walk the Freedom Trail through town to view all the sandstone buildings our town is known for.

Great Stay

This was the perfect cottage for our stay in Hot Springs. Adorable cottage with all the amenities. Jan and Jarvis are great hosts. We have plans to ultimately build a house in the area, and Jarvis was so so kind to offer advice for us. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

winter get a way

It was perfect for two people. Very clean and cozy. It seemed private, even though the owner lived right next to the cottage. It was next to a busy road too, but the sound of traffic wasn't really noticeable. The cottage sits below the level of the road with a beautiful deck facing the small creek and stone bluff. We would love to go back.

20+day stay - explored everything!

We stayed in this adorable cottage for 20+ days as part of a 6month road trip and we had such a wonderful time. We explored everywhere possible and it was so nice to come home to a cozy, well appointed cottage by a river. The property is situated well off the road with the creek running through the level backyard, perfect for hanging out with your family. Our dog loved it! Keep your pups on leash though.. we were surprised many times by wildlife right in the yard! While there are great activities relativity nearby (Wind Cave NP, Moccasin Mineral Springs, The Mammoth Site), many of the other things you come to see near rapid city will be at least an hour away. The drive is worn out though, as we saw Buffalo daily. The hosts are incredibly kind and can answer any quotations you have. If you choose to stay here, check out the steam coming off the creek in the morning.. it's part of the mineral springs system and was warm in the 30 degree mornings. I would stay here again!

Amazing time

Our stay was wonderful. The place more than met our expectations. Very clean and up to date. The deck overlooking the bumbling brook was amazing. One of the most relaxing trips we have taken. I highly recommend this property. We met the owners. Wonder kind couple. We will return another time.

Relaxing Cottage

Quaint little cottage by creek-so peaceful and relaxing. Cottage is very clean and quiet. Owners had bottled water and cookies waiting for us. This was our 2nd time to stay here and would definitely come back!

Just what we needed. A sense of seclusion yet close to town and our people there. The river in back made us consider our away-time. Local TV is, as usual for the canyon, unavailable. But there is no shortage of nationally streaming news and movies. Everything gets an A+. Everything works and works well.

Perfect Hide Away

Everything about this little gem is perfect. We stayed for 6 days and used the cabin as our "home base". It was perfect for 2. Great location!! The cabin was as cute as can be. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and hearing the river. It had a grill and little fire pit. We loved it and hope to go back again. :)

Awesome cottage by the river

This was the best place that I have ever stayed. It was so relaxing and inviting. Listening to the river while lying in the hammock or rocking in the chair on the porch…. Took all my stress away. I highly encourage everyone to visit this location….it is well worth your time!!!!

Peaceful getaway

Great property, very clean and well maintained. It’s exactly as described, your private oasis out back on the deck watching the sunrise or stargazing. We were lucky enough to be able to see the northern lights and shooting stars. Just beautiful

Perfection

My wife and I have traveled cross-country on our motorcycle 5 times and have stayed in at least 40 different vacation rentals and I have to say that this one is in our top 5 of places we have stayed. The location is close to the Black Hills and Custer state park. The town of Hot Springs is within a few miles with restaurants and shopping. The back deck is a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. We spent hours just enjoying the view and listening to the sound of the river. We would definitely stay again. Love the area and loved the house. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Amazing cottage on the river

Such an amazing cottage, super clean and cozy. This cottage made me break my rule of never going to the same place twice. The back deck is on the river, the view is perfect for morning coffee. Close to so many day trips, and a cute little town with great restaurants and local shops. The hosts are wonderful, friendly and super helpful. Can't wait to return to this hidden gem.

That view!

Everything was ready at check in time - the owner made herself available if needed but she was not intrusive in the slightest, which is very important! The cabin and grounds are absolutely charming. Neat as a pin, with lovely rock gardens greeting you at the entrance. Inside it's so cozy and comfortable. Everything is well thought out, including a nice desk for computer work. Lots of channels on the Roku! The real star of the show is the elevated back porch with a huge and unobstructed view of the rock canyon. Below the Fall River ripples below - such a soothing sound! Absolutely unforgettable. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Everything we needed was right there. Super clean. Set up well for two people. Very comfortable and so relaxing to sit on the deck at the end of the day and listen to the river sounds. Easy to find and access. The covered parking was a plus! Definitely recommend this and if we find ourselves back in the area we will stay again!!
