Sibley Bell tent 2 on 600+ square foot deck overlooking a beautiful canyon with high rock walls. This is the Sibley 600 Twin Ultimate tent, 258 sq ft. 13.12 x 19.68 ft, 10' ceiling, This is an amazing tent!

Ready for an amazing unusual experience? Make where you stay the most unique and fun experience, for that vacation you worked so hard for all year! Check out our other camping / RV search for 'EvansCliff'.

Queen size bed, daybed, cots available, reading chair, BBQ Grill (with side burner), Fridge, Wifi. On the deck, we have a large privacy room with shower, sink and toilet. Accessible from the 2nd tent entrance, or a door to the deck, so you don't have to go thru the tent.

Enjoy everything from beautiful sunrises to amazing sunsets.

The tent is in a secluded area in the trees above a canyon, but still easy to get to with a car and well hidden from the main house.

We are constantly making improvements and coming up with new ideas... so please mark us as a favorite and come back often to see whats new!

Great way to "glamp" with littles!

We stayed here and visited surrounding state/national parks and trails with our two year old and two month old. It was the perfect spot to relax after we got them in bed at the end of a long day. It had everything we needed to make meals, and space for two pack n plays in the tent for them to sleep in. We also used a pack n play to keep our toddler safe on the deck while she enjoyed the views as much as we did. Great time!

If you want something unique and wonderful, this is the place! You have all the conveniences you need along with privacy and the beauty of nature. It is a bit of a drive-but worth it. Hot tub, fire pit, hammock, outdoor kitchen.... never tried the tv so couldn't tell you how it works:) Working the shower was a bit of a mystery to us- it was steaming hot or cold...while we kind of figured it out, you may want to ask when you check in. There was a thunderstorm our first night which was a little unnerving, but everything was secure and tent was dry! The only other thing I would mention is that the grill was a griddle style and did not have a side burner as stated in the description and there were not pots and pans so we had to cook out of an electric frying pan- which made making mac and cheese a bit more interesting. Wifi was mostly good- sometimes lost connection on the deck. Overall, it really is a magical place to stay!!

Great place to get away from it all

Wade and Patricia were awesome hosts. Check in was great and they provided some great ideas for activities while we were there. Loved the tent and the hot tub. We have already booked a second trip.

Perfect spot for our small family. Quite and beautiful view. We loved the small town of Hot Springs, nice coffee shops and very pretty. Lots of wild life to see on the drive up. Check in was a breeze. Everything we needed was provided in the tent.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

These hosts thought of everything you could need for a glamping trip! The drive up to the property is gorgeous, as are the views from the tent. Everything was in working order as described and even better than we expected! This is a truly peaceful spot for a getaway in the hills and close enough to other attractions. We will definitely be back!

Very relaxing stay!

My wife and I loved our experience. It was very peaceful and relaxing, beautiful scenery, and the hot tub was a great way to end each night. One very small thing about this stay option (Sibley tent 2) was that there was slightly less privacy than we thought as we could see our neighbors through the trees. However, it still seemed and felt very secluded for the most part! We will definitely recommend this place to all of our friends looking for a great getaway!

Glamping Fun

Our first glamping experience did not disappoint! The tent, kitchen, and bathroom were all great! The deck and the hot tube made the whole experience even more fun! Wade greeted us and pointed out our spot and told us about the stuff we needed to know. The spot had everything, towels, hot tub towels, tp, kitchen supplies (no stove, but there is a grill) utensils, soaps, everything! We highly recommend Evan’s Cliff for your next stay near Wind Cave, Custer and surrounding area!

Sibley Bell Tent

We had a great time glamping in Hot Springs. Everything was as described in the listing. Beautiful views. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit and grateful for the hot shower and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and we used both the air conditioner by day and heater at night. Wifi was surprisingly good but we didn’t have any luck with the tv. Definitely recommend this unique experience.

Not quite a 5*

Would love to give this property a 5* rating but just can't. The first night we stayed, the temperature was quite chilly. We weren't provided with extra blankets or a heater until we asked the host the following morning. The host provided the heater without a problem but it should have been provided without having to ask for it. The fridge was quite small, which suited us but the freezer compartment did not keep our frozen food totally frozen (we didn't find this out until we packed up to leave). The outdoor shower was an experience, but the water pressure was good and the water temperature was hot :-) Having a flushing toilet was a bonus and very appreciated. There was no hot plate/portable stove, just the side burner on the gas barbecue which prevented us from cooking a whole meal at once. Luckily it didn't rain or it would have been dismal cooking outside. The area itself was very private even though there were other camps close to us. The view was wonderful. Unfortunately the roads of the town (Hot Springs) were under major construction so it was challenging to find parking or go into shops. The hosts were very available and helpful in providing recommendations and travel routes.

First time glamper, now a glamper for life! We really enjoyed our stay in the tent. Almost everything you could possibly need was provided. The beds were very comfortable, which was a big deal to me because I can't sleep on the ground or on an air mattress. The only thing I would have liked would have been some instructions on how to use the shower. It was very difficult to get the temperature right, so we really didn't use the shower except to quickly rinse off after the hot tub. If you do stay at Evans Cliff, use the directions the owner provides; Google Maps incorrectly took us to a sketchy area.

We are a product of on online dating. Patricia moved from MN to the Northern Hills in 1979. Wade was born in Spearfish, but was living in Colorado, counting days until the next time he could get back the 'The Hills'.

Why they chose this property

When we found the property online, we fell in love with the house... and Wade the shop. But after we came to see it in person and walked to the cliff... well, it was just amazing. You have to see it in person to understand. Everyday, we tell our 3 dogs and 3 cats, 'we are going to the cliff' and we all take a hike together, stopping just to sit and look. Seems like every hike, we see something new, we never noticed before. So nice here, we had our wedding at the cliff edge in 2012. We have a hard time figuring out where to 'go' for a vacation... we feel we are living in our perfect vacation spot and now we have discovered that we really enjoy sharing our favorite spot and the chance to meet new friends in the process.

We want every guest to feel right at home and provide everything you could ever need. We treat our guests as family... that traveled from across the country and have what they need to relax and prepare for the best vacation possible. We know most families only get 1 or 2 vacations a year, we are very honored to be a part of that experience.
