Nice Weekend Away

This property met our needs and we liked the simpleness of it. The bed was hard which was a struggle but a nice hot shower in the morning helped. Make sure you have charcoal if you are grilling. The boat ramp about 2 miles away is a good one. Loved the small town. Over all it was good!

Perfect for weekend getaway

House was clean and fully stocked. Located a short distance to Lake Gaston. Perfect for 6 adults. Only issue grill is extremely small and it’s charcoal so you might not plan on having bbq.

Perfect for an affordable Lake Gaston stay

The house is extremely clean and organized. The driveway is perfect for parking and turning around a boat. A public boat ramp is only a few minutes up the road and very easy. The house is stocked with all the essentials, including coffee/tea, salt, pepper, spices,. They even have laundry pods and dryer pads for the washer/dryer. Our family of four was very comfortable. We ordered takeout from Casa Mia one night (yummy) and picked up groceries from Piggly Wiggly one night, both just a few minutes up the road. The host emails many local tips to make your stay effortless. Check in and check out are a breeze. We can easily recommend staying here!

We have been in the area for several decades and truly love it. The community is rural but growing. There are good restaurants. There is a vibrant theatre. There is hiking, kayaking, water sports and all the things that Lake Gaston has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Littleton is a quiet community with great access to Lake Gaston and the surrounding Eco Tourism. The house is located two miles from downtown Littleton, the home of Lakeland Cultural Arts Center offering great entertainment including live theatre, culinary and musical events. Also home of the Paranormal Museum. Downtown Littleton and multiple venues on the lake host events most weekend evenings, all summer long.
