Serenity - Lake Gaston Waterfront Retreat

Our home is located in a quiet cove on Jimmies Creek.

The home sits on a one acre lot with a gentle slope to the lake. Relax on the deck with fabulous view of the waterfront and cove. Take advantage of the propane gas grill to cook up some burgers and dogs. There is ample seating on the deck to enjoy some great outdoor eats and drinks. Use the fire-pit to roast marshmallows or simply relax by the fire. You can swim or float around the boathouse or sunbathe on the attached deck. Tie your boat up to the dock or take our two kayaks and paddle board out for a spin.

Our home has an open floor plan with well stocked kitchen open to the dining area with plenty of seating and living room with a 55" Smart TV with integrated Roku. Start the day with a cup of coffee on the deck from either our 14cup coffee maker or Keurig. Dinner is a breeze when you use the 6 quart crock pot or cook up a feast on the gas range. Kitchen is stocked with service with 12.

The house features four bedrooms, all with smart TV's. Two large bedrooms feature King size beds, 3rd has two twins and 4th has twin over full bunk bed. In addition, there are two and a half bathrooms. One bathroom, newly updated, features a roll top tub perfect of enjoying a soak after a day out on the water and large shower with dual adjustable shower head. The other full bath has a bathtub/shower combo. All linens and bath/kitchen towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).

We offer high-speed internet via WiFi. We have a pack n play for your little one if needed (bring your own crib sheets). As mentioned above, we have 2 kayaks and a paddle board that our guests can use. There are a variety of sizes of life jackets on the premises, but no guarantees we will have your size. Your group can make use of the variety of puzzles, games and movies we have for your enjoyment. Use Alexa for music, weather or the programmed concierge service. Enjoy the ping-pong table, foosball and corn hole in the garage.

Pets
There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee for extra cleaning. Limit two domestic pets, but no cats.
Must be current on flea/tick treatment, be one year or older and under 75 lbs for each.
Please no pets on furniture.
Also, out of respect for the next renter, we would kindly ask you pick up any waste in the yard made by your furry friends.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful few days at Serenity. The home was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. We had fun with the games in the garage, took out the kayaks and enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit. Kitchen was very well stocked, which was a real bonus. Thanks for a great weekend and we hope to come back!

Mark was a fabulous host, very accommodating and he met all of our needs. Despite the noise from the landscaping company cutting trees we were able to have a peaceful, restful week. The property has ease of access to stores, wineries, and restuarants. Every person we encountered was also very friendly. I would recommend a visit to this beautiful lake.
