Great house. Nice host. Extra guest fee is high

My friends and I had a great time in John’s house. It was spotless and nice and cool upon arrival. Location is great. The weather wasn’t warm enough to use the pool, but it looked really nice. We did use the tennis courts. It’s also close to all kinds of hiking, canoeing and other activities. The only down side was the extra guest fee, which I don’t mind in principle, but it’s very high. It doubled the cost of our stay even after John agreed to lower it for us. Overall a good experience.

Living in nature

We rented John and Judy’s home to be close to Shawnee Ski Mountain. All we needed was a place to sleep and eat. What we got was so much more. We passed every waking moment watching a parade of wildlife from the back deck. Foxes, deer, skunks chipmunks blue jays, and woodpeckers to name a few. It was a total treat when you spend most of your life in the city I called John several times with questions and he called right back. The home is so cozy and there is plenty of wood for the fireplace. It was all we needed after a day of skiing. We didn’t take advantage of all of the amenities on the property but we drove around Saw Creek and everything was well maintained. I can’t say enough about our stay. We hope to do it again!
