Beautiful location, and overall unique and amazing property
Beautiful and unique location, The fire pit heated hot tub is very cool! Lots of deer come and go on the property. Overall beautiful house and location
Overall experience was great. Takes some time getting down the mountain so make sure you have all you need before you ascend. Lol. Cozy, quiet and a short walk to a nearby river that you can hear throughout your stay. Hosts are great as well. 5 stars all around
I went here with my high school friends and their spouses to have a relaxing birthday and it was amazing. Small warning the water does smell really bad but they did let us know that it was coming from a sewer. Other than that the hot tub was a great touch!
Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Very quiet & secluded but close enough to all of your Pocono activities. Our dog Griffey got to enjoy the house while we explored during the day in our first “summer” vacation in the Poconos. At night we used the hot tub, fire pit & grill to unwind and enjoy the space. All amenities are accurately explained by the gracious hosts who are readily available. Beds were super comfy and the AC unit kept us very comfortable despite the summer heat. Make sure your 4WD is on and enjoy this modern mountain getaway!!
All was well, the cabin is as stated, no issues with wifi.we had a great time exploring the area. We did not get to try the Hot tub but the steps to hot tub needs work. The tub and shower in home can use tub pad was a bit slippery. Really enjoyed the stay.Went to candle and candy factories we spent time on back deck watching wild life however some floor boards should be updated. Our dog loved walking around outside thankfully no wild life around at that time or it would have been a run for us both. We would definitely would consider a return stay.Thank you Maria
This cabin is nestled deep in the woods in a large private community. The cabin was very clean and check in was a breeze! I only had to contact the owner once about gaining access to the wood on site and I was quickly answered. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and gadgets and there were even some board games. Hot tub was great and my kids loved the fire to heat it up, we used it everyday. The front porch with the grill doesn't appear to be utilized that much so mother nature made quick work of scattering debris and spider webs all over it but that wasn't a problem since we sat on the back deck by the fire pit most of the time watching the deer walk by. Bring your chair and floats because the flowing creek is easy to access at the bottom of the driveway making this a true mountain getaway! I think most rental homes are similar as far as wear and tear go but this one being so clean really stood out to me and my family.

Disappointing
My family of four rented this cabin for a relaxing few days; we didn't mind paying a little more since it had an outdoor jacuzzi. However, we were unable to use it. The first day, it seemed we didn't put enough fire wood and the jacuzzi was not warm enough to enjoy. The second day we loaded it up with firewood and it was way too hot to step one foot in! Even after leaving the top open for 5 hours it was still too hot. A little tip from the owners on how to best operate this would be helpful. Also, there were no lights around the jacuzzi except for the porch lights so it didn't seem inviting to go enjoy it at midnight when its pitch dark out. In addition, the bedroom closet door was hanging off; in another bedroom the headboard was off hinge and crooked and the dryer was not working either! The place seems a lot older than the beautiful pictures advertised. Although, my family and I got to relax, I still found it disappointing and will not be returning.
Overall the stay was great.
Communication with the hosts was everything necessary and nothing more. Check-in and check-out processes were simple.
Great location, near to all things we wanted to do.
We'll appointed.
I did have some complaints, but I want to be sure to note that they were not big enough to warrant less than a 5 star rating.
They were:
The hot tub. My fiancé is pregnant, so we didn't expect to be able to use the hot tub. However our doctor informed us that we could as long as the temperature was kept below 96°. Since the hot tub is powered by fire, there is no way to set a temperature and you could potentially cook yourself. So we didn't use the hot tub at all and would not book one without a temp setting in the future.
No bidets. It's my opinion no toilet should exist without a bidet. If you got poop on your arm, would you just wipe it off with a tissue?
No curtains. I run a real estate photography business in Florida, so I needed to use my laptop several times each day. The sun coming in the windows was either blinding me, or causing a glare on the screen. Not to mention it would be nice to close them at night since you wouldn't know if someone was staring in.
Isolation. This was not actually a complaint for me since it is exactly what we were looking for, but it should be noted that it is a 15 minute drive up windy mountain roads, some gravel to get to the cabin. It was no issue for us, but I can imagine it could be treacherous in winter months.

If you are looking for a private getaway this is the place . We really enjoyed the surrounding, wildlife and of coarse the awesome hot tub . The house is clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is also a beautiful river to walk to . I would definitely return and recommend to others .

Therefore, we decided that we wanted to be our own hosts and assist other hosts by managing their property so they can be free of the day to day management.
