Lovely place to stay

Stayed at Saint Valery Sur Somme. This is a wonderful place, full of history and plenty of things to do and see. The Gite is clean, tidy, comfortable and handy for everything in Saint Valery. Would love to visit Saint Valery again and also stay at the fisherman's house again.

Perfect little house.

Perfect little house. Situated close to the main shops, bars and restaurants. House had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Check in was nice and easy and communication from owners was excellent. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

Nice week in the nothern France

The House was small, but way enough for 2 people and a dog. The house and the kitchen have everything you need to stay there for a week or longer. The Bathroomdoor is only a sliding door and you can't lock it.

Excellent stay

Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you.

Not near the beach

The website told that it was 90 mtrs from the beach. But it was not the beach, it was the river turning into the sea. It is not possible to sit there, because it is al clay and you just sink into it. We booked this stay to be able to go to the beach within a few minutes and also for the dog. The little house was fine and had everything we neefed. Clean.

Stunning views

The views from the upper floor windows are wonderful. This bijou fisherman’s house is situated in the heart of the town and close to the restaurant’s and shops, despite this, it’s amazingly quiet and peaceful. The property consists of a spacious living area downstairs with an open plan kitchen at it’s far end and a small shower room off of the kitchen. Upstairs the bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed together with a cupboard and chest containing bedding. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable and Sylvie, responsible for our check in and check out, was lovely. Thank you.

Arrivés 2 jours avant Noël, il faisait tres calme et les commerces de la rue principale Ouverts por la plupart.La ville assez déserte (peu de monde) parking aisé et payant en ville.Des le samedi 27/12 ….. arrivée massive de touristes et envahissement des quais et de la ville ( parking difficile à trouver pour celui qui n’avait pas sa place deja). I reste le parking gratuit à 20min … que nous n’avons pas testé.
Accès piéton… pas de voiture dans la rue…. Calme

Le logement est fidèle au descriptif. Ce n'est pas immense mais suffisant à 2 ou 3.Situé à 2 pas de la principale rue commerçante avec la vue sur la baie depuis la chambre, nous recommandons.
