Welcome to Yodel Dog Peak Retreat, a one-of-a-kind custom Amish-built log home set on 12 private acres with sweeping valley and mountain views.

Sleeping Arrangements The home accommodates up to 12 guests: • Private upper-level king suite with workspace and ensuite bathroom • Two separate main-floor bedrooms, each with one queen bed • Lower-level bedroom with one king bed and two twin beds • Two portable folding twin beds available Maximum occupancy of 12 assumes use of both portable twin beds. The lower-level king bed and two twin beds are located together in one spacious bedroom, making it especially practical for a family or guests comfortable sharing a room.
Outdoor Living Enjoy more than 1,150 square feet of covered porches and patios. Sip morning coffee while taking in the views, prepare dinner on the gas grill, watch deer move through the property, or gather around the fire pit when local conditions permit. Guests have access to the home, porches, patios, and surrounding acreage. The peaceful setting offers room to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Northwest Montana.

This Property is better than it shows on the add. It was the best stocked Vrbo we have ever stayed at. Host was very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a really nice quiet spot this is it.

Thank you so much! We’re glad the cabin exceeded your expectations and that you found everything well stocked, peaceful, and comfortable. It was a pleasure hosting you!
We had a great week at Yodel Dog Peak. Communication and periodic check- ins were fantastic. Everything in the cabin worked and equipment was top notch. We had 2 small dogs and they loved having the nice lawn to play on. One of the finest built log cabins I have seen and you will appreciate the craftsmanship involved. Property was extremely clean and well maintained. Beautiful views despite the smoke that covered that part of Montana. Wonderful property and we will try to return!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re so glad you had a great week at Yodel Dog Peak. We especially loved hearing that your dogs enjoyed the yard and that you appreciated the craftsmanship of the cabin. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of the property—we would be very happy to welcome you back anytime!
This is an amazing cabin. Beautiful log construction but the best part is the amazing view from the patio. It is located close to kalispell and whitefish. Easy to get to glacier park.Bobbi is the manager and was great with the communication whenever I had a question. We were a family of 8. We had 2 kids and 6 adults and the bedrooms handled all of us, no problem. We used the washer dryer to help with the kids stuff. We would use this home again if we go back.
My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property while exploring the area from Flathead Lake to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. For us this was the quintessential rustic Montana cabin with great views and surrounded by nature which enhanced our overall experience on our trip. The owner was very responsive and gracious.
Family vacation with 4 adults, 2 teens and 4 young children. We had a fantastic time. The cabin was wonderful! Plenty of space. Great communication with the owner. Minor issue and he fixed immediately.

Yes Thank you so much for your feedback and taking care of our cabin. Best regards
Beautiful view. Clean and comfortable. Query to host handled promptly and helpfully. First and second floor bathrooms antiquated without showers but otherwise functional. Stove and oven do not work simultaneously but a minor issue.
We had the most “Filthiest", Strange”, “Creepy”, & “Alarming” experience at this CABIN Rental & with the HOST/Owner of this Rental. We thought that this Vacation with our Family in this Cabin would help us relax & give us a peace-of-mind; instead, it felt like a lot of WORK "Cleaning" & "Worrying" if the Host/Owner is "Spying" on us. We feel that we need a Vacation from this Vacation. This Vacation at the Cabin makes us “NOT” want to RENT a Vacation Home ever-again!

Dear Eric
I have multiple text messages from you how satisfied and happy with everything. This nasty feedback only reflects who you are and how hypocrite you can be. I have 5 stars feedback in my all business as I strive to provide the best service abd friendship to my guests. I let guest abd host judge us all.
I booked this cabin for a group of eleven summer camp counselors to go on a weekend vacation, and I could not be happier! The location was perfect: quiet, tucked away, and with an amazing view from the balcony. The cabin itself was beautiful, inside and out. I was especially blown away by how well stocked everything was from firewood to spices. Communication with the owner was reliable and personable. Overall, I could not recommend this place enough, especially to large groups. It was a great stay!
We enjoyed a perfect week in Montana. The cabin was plenty of room for our family of 6. The porch, with endless views of valley below, was the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening after a long days in nearby Glacier. The cabin is extremely well stocked for cooking meals with a large variety of food items provided. The owner also provided a lovely welcome collection of snacks, coffee, beverages and even bags of ice that we used for our lunch cooler for a day of hiking. He had a few bottles of bear spray in the home that we could borrow for our hikes (and thankfully never had to use!) to save having to purchase in town. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the soaking tub in the master bedroom was a welcome for sore muscles. Everything about this home provided the relaxing week we all needed for our vacation.
Had a great experience all around. Property is well-maintained with gorgeous views over the valley. The owner was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. I would stay here again for sure, and I hope I do. Thank you!
The property has a spectacular view with everything you could want in a Montana mountain retreat. The owner was more than hospitable as he led us from Kalispell to a secluded home with all the atmosphere a visitor could possibly want. We were within driving distance of the activities we scheduled and the places visited. Our everyday needs were met with all the amenities that we required. Any questions we had were answered immediately and without question with an obliging call or an in person meeting. A serene captivating mountain home owned by an approachable and accommodating host in a truly beautiful part of the country.
This house is beautiful inside and out. Super spacious and very well built with tons of character, copper sinks, lovely hardwood floors and well appointed rooms. The views go on forever and you hear and see tons of birds, deer, wild turkeys and other critters. The owner / manager is always available and very responsive. We were so sad to leave.
