Delightful beach home! This fantastic 6 bedroom home is just a few blocks from the beach, delightful downtown Oceanside, and the wonderful train station! Part of Oceanside's charm is the fabulous train system that can take you to all of southern California's attractions in a flash! Enjoy the fresh ocean breezes from the roof top patio, the beach, explore the shops of Oceanside, or head for San Diego, or Orange County. All you need for your fantastic vacation!

Originially built in the 1920's, this gorgeous home only 4 blocks from the beach, has original wood floors, windows, and craftsman built in's and panelling. The walls are thick plaster which makes rooms virtually sound proof. The kitchen and baths are fully remodeled and modern, yet preserve the Craftsman style of the home. This 6 bedroom, 5 bath home is over 3300 sq ft, and has plenty of room for your family's beach vacation.

Enjoy lots of outdoor space in addition! There is a great front porch for enjoying the quiet neighborhood, as well as a back deck and two roof top patios to enjoy the sunset over the ocean and the cool ocean breeze as you BBQ and eat outside. Tons of space to spread out!

The new addition consists of 2 additional bedrooms, one of which is a 2nd master suite, 2 new bathrooms, and a second family room with kitchenette area.

There is a private, hot outdoor shower in the back to take all that extra sand off and to get the kids handled for good!.

All the beach towels, toys, chairs, umbrella, wagon, boogie boards you need! Keep your car open and just use all of ours! Beach bikes are there also.

Tyson Park is a wonderful place for the kids to play IF they get bored on the sand. The beach is beautiful with great surf for the surfer in the family.

Just a short 4-5 block walk to the beach.

2 car parking in the garage. Easy street parking also available.

It can be difficult to find a house that can accommodate a large group, but this worked out great for us. Space for all and appreciated the multiple gathering spaces. Unfortunately with the weather we couldn’t take full advantage of the outdoor space, but it would have been used if the weather was better. Location was convenient and it was awesome to have shops, restaurants, coffee, and the beach walkable from the house.

Wonderful stay!

Our family stay here over New Years weekend and it was a delight! It was clean and ready upon arrival and the hosts have great communication. It’s fully stocked in the kitchen and beds are clean and comfortable. Lots of space for kids to play and large dining area seating for our larger group. A quick walk to the beach and lots of restaurants in walking distance. We had a terrific time and would love to come back!

Overall, this is a very nice house. Location is good but street parking may be difficult. Rooms are clean, furnished well and are comfortable. Bath tubs can be slippery so we bought mats for three bathrooms.

Oceanside Beach House

This is an amazing house. Great decorations, great kitchen, nice bedrooms., nice neighborhood. It was able to easily accommodate our large family of kids and grandkids. It is close to shopping and an easy walk to the beach. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

Great family vacation

The house was great! It was so clean, the beds were so comfortable, towels were large. We had four families and each had our own space. We wish the beach would have been a little closer since we had seven littles and a whole lot of stuff to take, but parking was easy at the beach and really wasn’t too bad with wagons to haul our stuff for those that did walk. Also, lots of restaurants a short walk away! It was a great stay!

Beautiful House w/ lots of space

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with my friends. I got married at a venue nearby and this was the perfect place for us to enjoy each others company before and after. There's enough bedrooms for everyone to sleep comfortably and we sure did. My friends and I all got amazing sleep thanks to the comfortable beds and black out curtains. And to top it all off, Kathryn was extremely nice and responsive as a host. My friends and I had a wonderful stay.

Great location. Huge house!

This property is beautiful! Huge house and plenty of space for our extended family get away. Walking to coffee and restaurants was easy. And the pier too. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen. A few things kept us from giving 5 star review but things the management can fix. We let them know the grill was rusty so not useable. Also downstairs we couldn’t get hot showers it would start hot but not stay hot. The master bath on the other hand was too hot and count be

The Beach Retreat 2

Excellent accommodations. We had 12 family members arranging from 8 to 80 and everyone was comfortable. Very spacious house wthl two excellent patio's, the top one was great for watching the sunset. Plenty of beach equipment, chairs, boogie boards, surfboard, and toys for the young ones. Second floor has it's own refrigerator, microwave and sink. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Close to the beach and excellent places to each withing walking distance.

Amazing House

The house is amazing! It’s very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed here with a total of 10 people (5 couples). Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how comfortable the beds were. We walked to town and to the beach. Parking was great which is unusual for a So Cal beach town. The garage definitely helped with that. We made time on every deck and found it very relaxing! We booked our next trip here within a week of our return! So excited to experience this beautiful location again!

We absolutely loved staying here! Wish we could have stayed longer. Super charming and beautiful home! Plenty of space and so nice to share with another family. Can’t say enough about it! Oceanside Pier is beautiful and this is so close to San Diego Zoo and Seaworld. The deck areas are so fun. Beautiful landscaping and really comfortable beds and furniture. Loved having the 2 kitchens, living spaces, and laundry. All the bedrooms are bigger than expected and bathrooms are super nice. Very clean and well kept. We had our entire family with us at the house in Oceanside. We had plenty of space and everything was beautiful. The rooftop deck was lovely. The proximity to the beach was perfect! Just Perfect!

My family of 16 celebrated my parents 75th birthday. The location couldn't have been better. There was plenty of parking. The house is HUGE and has a huge patio and 2 big balconies. We spent our evenings watching the sunset in the water. There were plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We all took advantage of the 4 bikes available. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach or a 5 minute bike ride. We are all trying to figure out the date of our next trip at this amazing home!
